Great to see him get straight back up which suggests it may not have been as bad as is being touted around.
It really doesn't suggest that at all. It's pretty common for players who have done an ACL to not realise and keep playing on or walk/jog off fairly comfortably.

Horrible news.

For those saying its positive that he ran, dont forget Lenny Hayes played out a game with an ACL and Mitch Brown played out a practice game for us with one.

I've done 2 ACL's and I wasn't going anywhere after the knee snapped. Maybe I just copped the worst of things....

Mora may have been in shock and who can blame him if he was. Hoping he just wrenched the knee but we'll see.

That doesn't mean you discount all the other occurrences.

Mark LeCras is another who walked off OK following his ACL at training last year.

Got you. :thumbsu:

It's funny how you can't bear watching someone go down with a knee injury after you've had one yourself.
Find myself turning away without setting out to do so.

Terrible news, AFL must have one of the highest rate of knee injuries in world sport?

Horrible news would be devastating if its confirmed as an acl.

Hope i'm wrong but from memory it looks the same as when Malceski's retore his in a presesson match, that is no contact and just a simple change in direction and grabing the back of his knee.

Apologies if it's already been discussed in this thread, but do we know when to expect an official announcement regarding the severity of the injury? I read on facebook somewhere that he is awaiting scans on his knee that should get back sometime this afternoon/ evening.

Within the next hour minute I think.

Tearing the graft of the knee doesnt actually hurt. Makes a loud noise. Players who do ACLs and are running around still are normally people who tear the graft.
