Brad Dick is the only current player that is in a similar position , Dick has had an ACL on both knees done in the past three years plus a shoulder Reconstruction , if Dick plays games for WCE this season I reckon its a huge comeback , what Morabito does now is up to him and his family , maybe Freo can Rookie list him for two - three years before maybe playing AFL again in 2015 depending on ticking many boxes . Surely the scar tissue and knee would need that amount of time plus his confidence !

Brad Dick isn't the only player to sustain serious injuries in his career. Max Bailey has had 3 Knee Reconstructions in 5 years. One in 2007,2008 and 2009. Then he had wrist surgery and missed all this year and has played 24 games in 7 years.

Can not believe it, David Parkin was on the radio last week lauding this bloke at how well he has come back from injury. Parkin is in some sort of mentoring role with him. And then bang ! He's done it again, he is an absolute jet this boy, my heart goes out to him.

I've done 2 ACL's and I wasn't going anywhere after the knee snapped. Maybe I just copped the worst of things....

Mora may have been in shock and who can blame him if he was. Hoping he just wrenched the knee but we'll see.
That nutter Worsfold ran off after doing his knee. :)

John Dorge used to play NBL without an ACL in a knee or both knees. Didn't hurt him because he was a big slow centre who would only run in straight lines. :D

I'm holding my breath for Daniel and Troy Menzel. :(

Licuria did both knees before he was drafted.

Met him once close up at uni. Dude had a huge head, like a watermelon.

Harsh but true. Great footballer though, his saving grace is that his height makes him very versatile, he should at least be able to play 3rd tall back/forward at least. Dont think he will ever replicate that run and goal against Hawks unfortunately.

When you do the same knee twice it's a sad story, when you do it 3 times you simply don't know what to say. Hopefully the Purples will stick by him all the way because simply axing him at the end of the season would absolutely destroy him.

Heart sank when I saw this. Shocking news. Hopefully he can keep his head in a good place. Far too talented a kid to be spending this much time watching from the stands.

Good luck to the kid. I really hope this approach works wonders for him and he can still have a very good career.

I am glad that he has gone down this route considering the traditional methods have failed him thus far. Can't wait to see him have a prosperous AFL career, he has the talent he just needs some luck.
