Anthrax touring Oz with Soilwork & Kilswitch Engage

ANTHRAX are touring Australia, with Soilwork and Kilswitch Engage as supports.

Dates and venues yet to be confirmed, but here is what I have heard :

Adelaide....Friday 23rd April
Brisbane...Sat 24th April
Melbourne...Sunday 25th April
Sydney...Tuesday 26th April
Sydney....Wednesday 27th April

Don't think i will go to this show.
I like killswitch engage a lot but thats it. Anthrax i don't like at all and soilwork are pretty average. Probably not worth it just too see one band.

The sequence of dates doesn't make sense (eg. Sunday 25th then skips to Tuesday 26th) - this was a cut & paste job off a messageboard.

Still trying to get more reliable and more specific details, but the Nuclear Blast website isn't renowned for that, and if the details are correct it hasn't been updated.

More Anthrax news is that they've re-released several albums with additional tracks, in digipak format. I hate digipaks, so Nuclear Blast can stick their flaky cardboard cases.

Quite liked the last Anthrax album (even though I've never really been much of a fan), and I wouldn't mind seeing Soilwork (despite the fact their last 2 albums have been SHYTE!).

Anthrax rocked in 1995 at Metros Freo - one of the best shows ive seen.

new album is good as well

could fly to adelaide but i didnt even do that for the mighty slayer! (who i havent seen)

I'll be there. 2 shows in Sydney but not in Melbourne? Ah well they can keep their extra Opeth show!

Not much of a fan of Anthrax, l didn't mind the Volume 8 album. Soilwork had awful sound last year at the Galic Club (that's almost expected though), and Kill Switch Engage are the only nu-metal band I have been impressed with.

I'm sure some gay, s.hite band will get the opening spot for the sydney shows (if its Daysend - i'll puke - bloody sydney metal politics).

I hope The Dillenger Escape Plan tour rumors are true as well, it's looks like a good year ahead for metal gigs!
