As a person who gets enjoyment from a range of sports it never ceases to bemuse me that others are so willing to waste time, money and energy in empty battles against sports, instead of wisely spending their time enjoying the sport they are partial to??!!

This site has been prepared by the 'grimreefer' who tried (with minimal success) to accrue devotees to this pointless laughable cult on the World of Rugby League site some weeks back. Suffice to say the thread died a quick and dismal death!

Isn't it fun to watch rugby league die slowly by a thousand cuts. My advice to everybody is don't give this moron a moment of your precious time.

As the number 1 sport in the country don't even bother giving it to him through email either just sit back and relax in quite satisfaction that AFL will be forever king.

actually it rather pains me to see Rugby League die, as it was the sport i first knew when i came to Sydney when i was 11.

Rugby League was such a great game, and if you ever got to witness a really tough game, you know you've witnessed a sporting event.

One of the problems with Rugby League as a game, is that if there is not very many good games. But when you get a good game, it is the best sporting spectacle going around.

When you say you don't get anymany good games.
There are far more better games of r/league than AFL..I watch every game on Optus. The results are usually much closer and errors far less than in AFL.
Do you watch all the games??

I never really liked Rugby League until the Melbourne Storm was born. I rarely missed a home match unless the Doggies were playing at the same time. I was at Stadium Australia to see the Storm win the Premiership in '99. I have to admit that it was the most exciting sporting event I have ever witnessed. ( I was at every VFL/AFL Grand Final from '76-'94 including the North/Collingwood draw in '77.) I guess if I would have seen the Western Bulldogs win a Premiership, my thinking would be different. Damn Crows!
