Anti-semitism, why does it exist?

African/Americans cry foul yet no one listens.

Palestinians cry foul yet no one listens.

Asian/Australians cry foul yet no one listens.

Arabic’s cry foul yet no one listens.

Baltic states cry foul and get invaded.

South Americans cry foul & migrate to the US, a country most 3rd world or “minority” countries claim to HATE.

But always it’s the Jewish population who cry foul the loudest and are heard.

Persecuted first in recorded history by the Egyptians (400 years of slavery)
Then by the Roman’s who crucified their leader - the son of god.

After came the NAZI’s with Hitlers murder factories.

And now lone gunmen psychopaths with an axe to grind.

Firstly - what have they done to deserve this and is it a true conception?

& secondly is it just paranoia of a religious sect who have been unjustly vilified..?

Bearing in mind all the racial/religious/xenophobic examples listed above, why are the Jewish community considered so precious or sensitive..? Why do they seem like such a common target?

He believed that Palestinian land was in fact Jewish by how far back they go there. But he made money from stolen indigenous land and recources here. Of all people who should have sympathy for the indigenous, it is Jewish folk. If what you say about they facing such persecution.

It's funny what you say about Jewish persecution. Why did they try and wipe out Christianity when it first started. Christianity was a peace movement that sprang out of a Jewish dictatorship. Crucification of a man of peace who preached a similar message as John Lennon is quite a shocking act.

Partly it is straight-out discrimination by Christians, because the Jews did not believe in Jesus being the Son of God.

Partly it is because of their tradition in money-lending, which made them an easy and popular scapegoat in the same way that people blame "The Rich" for all of the world's problems now.

Partly it is because their traditional homeland lay basically on the crossroads between Christians in the West and Muslims in the East. So they were in conflict with the two major "religious powers" throughout large parts of history. So "everybody" hated them.

Partly it is because their ritual purity/cleanliness meant that they were not as affected by things like the Plague and other epidemics. This led to suspicion that they either (a) caused it, or (b) made some sort of secret pact with the Devil/unholy gods/[insert boogeyman here] to avoid being killed.

Partly it is simply a vicious cycle. As they were shunned and persecuted, they formed tighter and more insular communities, which in turn isolated them further from the mainstream, which in turn caused more discrimination and persecution.

Can you please provide factual or historical sources to support your claim that we (australia) went to europe to save the jews? Pretty sure we went to war because it was a WAR..to support our allies...defend our borders etc. None of the allies participated to save the jews, it was to save themselves...and due to our obligations to the commonwealth.

Jews throughout history in Europe have been limited to a very small amount of occupations and made to live in certain places, usually out of major centers. In fact they were kicked out of England at least once.

A good example of this is a Shtetl a mainly Jewish market town where their was tailors etc, hence Schneider is a fairly common Jewish name. Shtetls were also great for pogroms where eastern European rulers could eradicate Jews on mass. Money lending was part of this but not the main reason Jews were money lenders.

Back over a 1000 years ago Christianity viewed ursury as Islam does ie a sin. So pretty much only Jews lend money throughout Europe. English kings needed money for the crusades, so the only place they could get it was off the Jews, problem was the king didn't want to pay it back, hence all the Jews were kicked out of England. Later the Templars became bankers and is one of the reasons they were wiped out which gave the medici a good idea who got banking off and running. But the local Jewish money lender was part of European communities for 1000+ years.

A great slab of left leaning individuals are anti Jewish. Its irrational but each to their own. Pity Marx wa Jewish.
