With the dramas with the captains vote, never rolling up to watch peel, limited interaction with other players on social networking sites.. It was clear to me that he was a tad antisocial.

After seeing him in the box alone today, while all his teammates sit with us working class folks was a really bad look. I think Fyfe is all about Fyfe and the rumours are true about the rift.

I know it's an odd thread but with contract talks I think it's relevant.

He's been helping with the match day coaching lately. Is he still doing that?

I heard that he got his op to get this plate removed this week? Maybe doctors advice was not to be out in the cold air. (Its only fair to wildly draw conclusions for the positive as it is for the negative)

Who said he doesn't roll up to Peel games.? I've spotted him there so you're talking out of your anus. If you're going to troll at least make the effort to make sure your bullshit can't be shot down.

couldn't give a stuff if Fyfe is insular. So was Pav apparently. It goes with being Captain. Its not U12's. Captain isn't trying to be friends with everyone but to have authority and influence on the culture of the playing group.
And the players and officials alike respect Pav immensely after they left/retired. Often times the captain/best player has to be the 'anti-social' figure in order to not give anyone preferential treatment and emotion affecting decisions.
There has been alot of times seeing Hodge in the coaches box by himself when he has been injured, particularly earlt this year. Maybe it's part of the leadership group to be in the box on game days.

This thread is not relevant and posting this crap puts you in the same category.

I sit next to the President's room and I saw him in there today laughing with Rosich and Jack Sheedy and mixing with the sponsors. Looked very relaxed and comfortable and social to me.

That’s great to hear man. I'm referring to fyfe and the playing group.

Quite honestly I don't care. I've worked with lots of people I didn't particularly get along with socially. Playing footy should be the same, they don't all have to be mates.

Yeah im fine with it too, dont give a **** at all. Im just stating that there is something there, bit of friction.

Who cares if he doesn't hang out with the footy boys outside of the club, probably wants to separate those parts of his life a bit.

Players don't have to like him that much either, but I bet they respect him on the field. They know when he pulls on the jumper he's gonna do everything he can to help Freo win. Like playing on a broken leg in a prelim. If he was all about himself he wouldn't have played through that.

He was probably asked to be there, being a home derby. He's normally in the coaches box.

He has got a couple of the players sharing his house. They seem to be alright with him. The posters just trying to stir shit. If it looks and posts like a troll the odds are etc ,etc.

Rosich said Fyfe was in outstanding shape and was firmly focused on 2017.

"He probably could be playing this week if we took a different stance with him," Rosich said.

"He's fully focused on his preparations for next year. In my conversations with him just recently he's already mapped out his whole pre-season with Jason Weber (Fremantle sports science manager). So that's his focus. If and when it's the right time to sign Nat we'd do it. If he wanted to do that tomorrow we'd be happy to do it."
