Do any of you think we will take a punt and have a selection during the PSD? There seem to be a couple of names thrown around - Gaspar, Selwood, Cupido, Norman, Green, Armstrong but is it worth taking a risk on one of these players? Will Clarkson draft a youngish player to the club who has some experience? your thoughts....

I hava feeling that AC will look for a youngish player with a bit of expierence.. if it was my choice..id be aiming for Gaspar or Norman or even Cupido.. I think it is worth taking a punt..because Gaspar always gets injured, never got the chance to show his real self..and never got the chance with the eagles, Norman is just a dumb**** for all the sh*t his done, but he has the potential to be a superstar..and same thing with Cupido!!

I have a feeling he will draft one of these players!!

I don't know much about Gaspar, have always thought his brother sucked and have just illogically lumped him in with Darren. How old is he?
Would love McLaren or Selwood but it looks as though they will be snapped up. A definate NO to Cupido.
Geen or Armstrong maybe, if the price is right.

Id be very wary of Cupido or Norman and I think Clarkson is determined to avoid the type of culture that those two would bring to the club.

A ruckman - McLaren or Beau McDonald would be the best result.

Travis Gaspar could be worth a try, or maybe even Brad Scott - just to add some real hardness for a year or two while the kids develop.

Carlton are going to take McLaren #1 I think.

Collingwood have expressed some interest in Selwood and Cupido. I would only be interested in the former.

Gasper could be an option. Has some ability and we could use another big bodied defender (especially if we came cheap) but his body has big question marks over it. He'd probably be my pick though.

I could probably handle McLaren, Selwood or Gaspar. All in all, they are probably going to be taking someone like Doug Scott's spot on the list.

Yeah if he or woewodin come cheap i reckon they would be good additions. As it stands I reckon McLaren to carlton, (Meaning Hawthorn will be looking for a young ruckman with picks 3 or 6 as Scott will get delisted), Selwood to Collingwood and hawthorn may pick up one of these blokes at three. I know you blokes don't like him but woewodin in form could be a handy reciever to complement our tough nuts and clearance players.

We have a plan, a youth policy. Neither Lappin or Woey fit that plan.

IMHO Lappin would be playing just for the money, not the thrill and honour of pulling on a Hawthorn jumper.

Woey I think just wants to prove his many critics wrong. I say go to the reject shop (North) if you want another go.

If Clarkson was looking for someone young in the PSD, what about Dylan Smith delisted from Freo. Was pick 6 in the 2000 national draft and was set to be a great player, maybe Clarkson could turn it around for Dylan.
