Any father-son picks coming up in the near future?

Another poster on here suggested Waterman has been bought and paid for already and isn't likely to strain himself for the rest of the season, which could in part be injury related or could just be intelligent player/ list management for 2015.
Isn't there a financial incentive for players to get drafted higher? Not saying he couldn't have put the cue in the rack regardless of that.

It's more significant to play senior footy. I think around $2,200 a game when on the first contract. If he's just going along and is sure to be fit for pre season, he'll make up any difference by playing half a dozen games (as he wouldn't be going first round given where we'll finish).

I kinda hope that we fall a few places lower TBH and almost guarantee the 1st / 2nd best midfielder this draft if the first two picks go tall.
Petracca and Brayshaw will almost certainly be gone.
But the consensus is (and I haven't watched TAC/U18 enough to verify) that one of Ahern and Pickett may be available at pick 7, our most likely draft position IMO.

Let's hope for an Aish style drop to 7 eh!

Agreed, it doe's seem from what others have said that there is 1 maybe 2 gun midfielders and then a group of 4-5 ish midfielders. It would still be good to be the team who has first choice from the pack.

Another game last night. Had 20 touches till halfway through the third term and finished with 23 for the game after being used sparsely.

Used the ball really well going forward and was named in the best.
Interesting that from the start of the colts season up until his big game v Vic Metro he was averaging 30 touches a game from 6 matches (including champs). From his game after VM he has averaged 19, also from 6 matches.

So it looks like he's definitely picked up some kind of injury. Or it's WC telling his coaches to play him only half the game...CONSPIRACY!!!!!!

As a club we would have been stupid not to tell him to calm down a bit. If we get him for a second or even a third rounder we are laughing.
