the tigers should of been a bit more brutul this year & not with the young guys like jon, they need time (4-5 years).
pettifer
king
johnson
polak (put on rk list)
casserly (put on rk)

sometimes there is no room for sentiment.

agree

Heard a rumour today that Pettifers knee is worse than first thought and he has had to undergo a second operation. The same person also told me that it is likely that Petts will be added to the delistings by Friday.
super news, all humanitarian concern aside.

Sad for pettifer...but I'm kind of glad. If it wasnt for his knee reco, would we have retained him anyway? I'd argue we probably would have delisted him more readily...stuff the sentimentality! Only players that deserve that are champions who give their all (coughlan)!

at least 2 more from the list proper have to go. to only utilise 3 nd picks this yr and for the third time in wallaces reign would be madness.only collard has the required skill set to be kept on the rookie list. all up a turnover of nine that is what we should be aiming at.

Come on Pettifer get the **** out of our club ****en.

Pettifer isn't the greatest player on earth however he hasn't been the worst and has put in some great performances for the RFC, especially playing as a forward in a woeful woeful team.

Now has a f**ked knee (a knee he f**ked playing for the tigers) and possibly a finished career.

Getting a bit sick of the slagging off. Now I almost hope he gets delisted so I don't have to hear everyone whinge about him all next year.

Remember today is only the first of three list lodgement dates. The "Must do's" for today are rookie promotion and rookie retention.

The next List Lodgement is Nov 14 with delisted players nominating for the draft the following week.

Lodgement three occurs middway between NAB draft and PSD. There are no lodgemetments listed after this so i can only assume that PSD selection automatically adds to the list.

This means that we wont know for another two weeks how many NAB draft picks we are going in with for sure.

Yeah thats fine but since we have done the rookie listing today is still kind of important. ;)

I assume we've handed it in to the AFL but are too lazy to produce a media release.

Sorry - didn't mean to downplay the importance of today - just trying to pre-empt all the wingeing about only doing 3 ND selections if they don't delist Petts or others today.

The other thing to remember is we are going to get at lest two more rookies next year as the club stated they were going to six. So with Cartledge a must to drop off from age (I believe) we will get a minimum three extra rookies even if we keep Sylvester and Howat (for whatever strange reason they may give!!).

Lodgement time passed ten minutes ago - wouldn't expect anything for a couple of hours yet.

There's a half forward available. He's in his mid-twentys. Younger than Medhurst, taller than Medhurst, kicked more goals than Medhurst last year (37 to 30).
In his last full year he was 2nd in his clubs goalkicking and 1st in inside 50's
This year he was 2nd for inside 50's per game, 2nd for goal assists per game, 6th in kicks per game and 8th in tackles per game at his club.
Interested?

No. We dont need him.

Surprised to see Chris Johnson delisted from Melbourne (the half back, not the useless ruckman). Had a pretty good year, avg 27 touches between rounds 14 and 17 apparently, was a great Dream Team buy. I'm not overly excited about picking him up but at 22 is probably the best prospect in the PSD.

is his last full year when according to you he blitzed, we finished last.
This year when he was 2nd in all those stats and 6th in another and 8th in the other, he was dropped to the 2s and we finished just outside the 8. Do you not see how irrelevant this player is to an overall result FFS? There are a 100 Hfs who can step into his position and produce the same stats, who dont play AFL. Do you know why? Because they dont have a ****ing effect.;)

Probably should've mentioned if he played for Geelong in '07 he probably would've kicked 70 goals!

probably should have mentioned that he didnt play for Geelong in 07 and if he did he would now be playing in Colac or somewhere in the country, since you would not have even heard of him if he was at the cats in 07. ;)
