If my thoughts count, i'll be going :). Hope to hear more cheering from you guys then sydney last week. We totally rolled them over the telstra dome walls with our cheering, it was like the onslaughter of the onslaughter...

But that was on two occasions really...our first quarter, and CJ's mark. pretty poor game, hopefully it'll be a turn around this week, and you guys can challenge us in an entertaining fashion.

My point is that despite the current state of play, the Carlton Football Club has given me plenty to enjoy over the years, far more than your average Geelong, Bulldogs, Melbourne, Richmond, Collingwood, Sydney and St Kilda supporter. Supporting a club is a two way street.

So to anyone thinking of jumping off the bandwagon, good riddance, the club doesn't need you. Im sure Richmond will welcome you with open arms.

Mate you are kidding, i don't care how badly we're going, i don't want anyone jumping off any team and trying to come to us. No-one should ever feel like they can do that with good conscience. You support one team win, lose, draw or die!!!!

i have to agree whole heartedly with you expatriation....

@ all

i think our dissaointment came as we all had high expactions of carlton beating richmond that brought us all into dissapointment...

richmond never really got involved in the hype leading into round 1 as much as us blues and there actions spoke for them selves

to me richmond reminded me of something i believe in and not many of you will understand unless you know Latin

"per res non lacuna"

these latin words speak for themselves really and i belive Carlton members and players should follow "per res non lacuna"

"challenges all members and players of
the Carlton football club never to settle for
mere words
when there is
good we can do
."

in other words what i am saying is let our actions speak louder then words

in which "per res non lacuna" in latin means : by deeds not by words

maybe intead of feeling dissapointment take yourselves to the game and let your actions speak louder then words by showing your support for our guys

Carlton is my second favourite team and it really hurts me to see them doing so badly - I would rather that happen to someone like Essendon or Freo or Adelaide. However, I would take some consolation out of when you guys were thrashing us every week in the eighties you were also winning premierships, whereas while we are doing it to you, we are "choking" in preliminary finals.

I think you should go - look at two games last year, West Coast v St.KIlda and West Coast v Brisbane. both paid the away teams double figures for a win and BOTH got up. Anyone could beat anyone and you don't want to miss the chance to see it happen.

Some of you need to understand that life goes on (football life that is) and you may be crap now, but in a few years or so you'll be right back up there and challenging with the big guys of the league. And I wouldn't worry about hundred point losses either - the last tiume we did that, we had a bloke at the helm who was an egotistical pig with no clue of coaching (I can happily admit that now)

good luck (but not too much luck cos we need to beat you or we're screwed)

To see Carlton V Saints, apart from the joy of just watching ur team do we have ne chance of winning? I went to the game against Richmond and was dissapointed, not just with the loss, but i hate following a team where the players dont play like there lives depend on a win.

Pull your head in mate, we need as much support as we can get. In a few years time all the pain and suffering will be paid off

LOL! Nice call! But no no and no!

Ive been watching a bit of the blues since the hawks havnt been on tv much. I must say under Brett Ratten and the inclusion of Judd and stevens (from injury). The blues look to date, to be competitave, composed and more skilled. Reckon the blues games will be closer than a few of you thing and you pinch a few games in the 2nd half that none of you expect.

Chin up, the blues performance is on the up.... :thumbsu:

3 x 2 year contracts would be good.
