Jarred Waite, despite his pre- season setback with a foot fracture, looks the best hope. He can play tall, but also do damage at ground level. It's easy to forget he kicked 36 goals in 21 matches last year. He was also one of four Blues to make more than 100 marks. Ideally, he'd be a huge bonus as a half forward flanker with a roving commission. If Brendan Fevola and maybe Anthony Koutafides can step up as goalkicking options, Waite will be a very dangerous wildcard. Waite starts the year as a 23 year old. His time is now.

Talk about the the Herald Sun.

Yep. Waite will be there causing headaches. So will Fisher, Betts, Walker, Murph, Carrazzo, Houlihan, O'Halpin, Bentick, Kennedy, Hartlett, Davies, Russell, Lance............etc.

Tend to agree with your there Sav. Liked the look of Hartlett in the Pre-Season. Hopefully he can stay injury free and play some consistent footy in the AFL.
