Here's 1

Yes I am a Villa fan. And i was a happy Villa fan at half time against Citeh.
However it must be noted we played most of the match without probably our 3 best players Mellberg INJ and Barry and Vassell who did not play.
We don't have the depth there to lose those sort of players.
Good to see JPA netting 4 goals in the last 2 weeks after GT, almost ruined his career last season.
Hitzlperger must go he is the worst midfielder i think i have ever seen, cant pass, cant tackle, can't shoot all that well and cant even get the ball. He is terrible. On Villa Talk.com he got a 3 rating which I think is probably too generous.
Anyway Up the Villa,
&
Ellis Out
We are one of the biggest clubs in England and we should be fighting for a CL spot instead of staving of relegation.

Biggest clubs? You lot aren't even the biggest club in Birmingham (the most successful in Brum, I'll grant you that) let alone one of the biggest in England! I hope you lot stay up because the 6 points will handy for our charge for a European spot. If there is any justice in the world Doug Ellis will be there forever (proving that deep down he really is a Bluenose;))

The sad thing is despite all this the Vile had a 10 year head start on us in the Premiership and yet it took us only 6 months to overtake ya! Hope you enjoy another pasting at St. Andrews in a month before we do same to you again at the "Hall of Memory" (cos that's all you lot 'ave got - memories!) later in the season. Think I'll go watch the 95 Auto Windscreens Shield Final video now, when as a Div 2 club we took 55,000 to Wembley (something you lot couldn't do even though you've been in the Prem) Don't forget, the only time we ever played you lot in a major final we turned you beggars over on your home ground!:D

Well big isn't necesarily always interpreted by he amount of supporters a club has. Many other things come into account. For example the fact that we are in the 20 richest clubs int he world speaks volumes. I doubt u Blue Nose scum would even make the top 50. I even remember a game last year when your bloody lights weren't working b4 a match agasint the gooners.
Some big club.

First of all, it's clear we have another Vilean here who doesn't know his facts. Chelsea apart, Birmingham City have the richest owners in Britain - FACT. The combined wealth of David Sullivan & the Gold Brothers is over a billion quid! We have more money behind us than Manchester United. So not only do we have more fans than the Gravelly Hillbillies we have more money too!:p Our owners haven't spent as much as other owners but given the way the money bubble burst in Football when ITV Digital collapsed it was a shrewd move. It is has left us in a position where we can easily fund new signings like Dugarry & Dunn whilst you lot are forced by Ellis to buy the likes of Peter Crouch! I know who I'd prefer! We're also now in a position financially to finish the redevelopment of St. Andrews as well once the claret & blue scum on the Brum City Council give us permission. As for the floodlight failure against Arsenal, not really our fault that there was a transformer failure that cut power to most of South Birmingham/Solihull that night. As for Robbie Savage, you lot only wish you had a player as committed as him. Made your lot look very 2nd rate at Vile Park last season!:D

For such a rich club u spent an awful long time in the wilderness.
I only go by fact and the fact is that the Brum are blue nosed scousers and we r a richer club.
David Dunnothing and Christophe 'I am not the type of player who scores goals' Dugarry aren't that great.
Stern John, Lazaradis, Forsell lol, matty upson
Compared to the likes of
Barry, Olof, Darius and Mc Cann a.k.a the destroyer
Well at least we know when we play u at St. Adrews this year we wont have to worry about the game being cancelled because u guys (one of the richest clubs in the world) can't even afford to pay your electricity bill, as it is a noon kickoff.

Barry, Olof, Darius & McCann? ROTFLMFAO!!!!!:D :D :D Mate, you are comedy gold, honestly I've not had such a laugh since last we went to Vile Park! Dunn has been great for us this season and Dugarry when the pressure was on towards then end of last season scored the goals to make sure we weren't dragged into the relegation dogfight unlike your goodselves. We did spend a long time in the wilderness, but that is to be expected given how the previous owners mis-managed the club dreadfully to such a point that the stadium was falling to bits and we nearly went to the wall. It was always going to take time to recover from that, but we have and we're on track to finally have some success after years & years of bad luck and not being very good (we're the only club in England that sings "we've never won f*ck all!")

As for us being like 'scousers', if by that you imply that we are working class then I'll wear that as a badge of honour. We are Birmingham's club, for Birmingham's people, good honest, working people. The people that make Birmingham the greatest city in the UK. Not a bunch of middle class saps who come from Tamworth, Evesham, Lichfield, etc rather than Brum who turn up at the Vile when they happen to win a few games and then disappear when the usual crap form kicks in. Not to mention the well-heeled support you get from North Brum as well, not a tattoo among them, disgraceful! Or what about the Holte End Under 11 boys choir, whose only song comprises of a high-pitched squeal of 'Vi-llaaa, Vi-llaaa". Hillarious! Not only that, your 'firm' is associated with Combat 18. How low can you go! That's why the Vile will always be a joke in our eyes.

Can't wait to have you lot back at St. Andrews again, maybe Mellberg can take another throw in close to goals this time as well?:D :D :D

Not much weight
peter crouch is fuc*&^% gr8.

6 foot 6
lots of tricks
peter crouch is class on sticks

Not really, however wasn't he semi-prolific for the pompey in his time there.

Hes at a loan spell with some1 now, but i don't think he is EPL standard. He should be playing in the Nationwide but h's copped alot from Villa supporters so I'd really love to see him be successful at the Villa.
Maybe we should offload him to the Brum, coz they'll be playing nationwide next season and he's fit in well with the mediocrity they already have playing at St.Andrews.

Hang on, it would be pretty hard to displace to prolific Clinton Morrison, or Geoff Horsfield (if hes still playing).

ooh ahh John McGrath

This would be the same Clinton Morrison & Geoff Horsfield who easily potted goals against you lot in the derbies last season yeah? ROTFLMAO! You're gold mate, comedy gold! It's a shame the Horse has gone to Wigan actually because I'm sure he was looking forward to stuffing you lot again. Nevermind, I'm sure Forssell will be able to take over, no problems. Keep the comedy coming mate, particularly the stuff about mediocrity! One should look a little closer to home before directing that charge at Blues!:D

Well last game against the hapless fulham aside, the brum r struggling to conjure up any goals at all this season, other than from the penalty spot. So what part should we be worried about, wait with Dugarry in your team and his sublime diving skills needless free kicks and penalties are a formalityThis year with with JPA in form, birmingham has a snowballs chance in hell of penetrating Villas world class defence with there precious array of school boy strikers.
I can just see it now Hendrie 2 Whittingham down the left, with the cross JPA, GOAL!!!! 5-0 the Villa.

The best moment all of last season was when Dion gave Robbie what for. But I guess Karen Brady needs some lil blonde toy boy at the club to play with.
Do u think that St. Andrews will be still standing by the time the Villa come there?
Angel Vassel
Whittingham Barry McCann Hendrie
Anyone but Samuel Mellberg Alpay Delaney
Sorensen
Prepare for the Villa assault because last year we felt sorry for u guys living in the lower divisions us being the pride of Birmingham year after year. We gave u those 6 points so u scousers could stay up, this year the claret and blue army won't be so kind.

Ooh Ahh John McGrath

Samuel Mellberg Alpay Delaney

World class defence?

ROTFLMFAO!!!!!

You don't fail to deliver mate, comedy genius yet again!

Just remember who gifted us those goals last season buddy - all four would be having some pretty sheepish looks on their faces watching the video.

I would think this XI compares more than favourably:

Taylor

Kenna Cunningham Upson Clapham

Johnson Dunn Savage Lazaridis

Forssell Dugarry

I wouldn't claim that it's a world class side but there are some very handy players who are capable knocking off sides who think they're 'world class' based on the achievements of years ago but on recent form are a clear second best to their betters from across the Expressway ;) We're waiting for you and whoever you lot bring with you, at the end of the day when it comes down to passion, desire and pride in the club it's the Witton Wanderers that will be found wanting yet again.:D

Yeah he scored 19 goals in less than a full season with us I had hopes that he could go on with it but that hasn't exactly happened yet. Must have been the exceptional service from Robert Prosinecki that made him look good!

Still happy buying him for 1.5 mill and selling him 7 months later for 5.5 mill, nice profit!

Predictions Vs. Charlton at Villa Park tomorrow night.
Barry is back & hopefully Vassell will return from injury.
Bad news Mellberg and Johnsen seem to be losing their fight to be ready though. Means we will playing the same back 4 that finished at Man City.....gee that was a huge success. O Leary needs some more money to improve his paper thin squad list

Villa 2- Charlton 2

Nolan,
I never called Samuel world class I think samuel along with Hitz is one of the worst players i've seen at the elite level. Class and Samuel don't
But u r kidding yourslef if u don't classify Olof as a world class defender. I've seen him tame the likes of Ruud, Henry, Owen etc.
He is all class. Alpay im not completly sold on but over a year ago he was included in the world cup team of the tournament, which I think is a pretty fair acheivement. Delaney is a pretty fair player despite being one dimensional, he doesn't get forward enough.
I haven't seen upson play all that much but from what i hear the gooners were stupid to let him go.
Regardless of what i said before i think Dunn is a gr8 player but apart from him your midfield isn't all that strong. Lazaridis and Savage are fair players but nothing more. Although Savage is a nuisance at times just like he was with Leicester. Kenny Cunningham? Compared 2 Mellberg if u r drawing any comparison then u need to get your head checked.

Anyway I think u might enjoy this Neil Evans editorial if u haven't already read it.

Villa v Charlton
haven't looked at any match previews on villatalk.com yet but we should beat (no offense) a small club like Charlton. They've got a gr8 manager, some good players but if we r going to finsh Top 10 we should beat them. As long as Darius is back and Gareth, we should win 3-1.
A brace from JPA and a first senior goal for the new left sided Beckham.
