Any word on Jim?

It would be naive to think that the cancer won't shorten his life, in one form or another. But he just seems to persevere through all the doubt and obstacles one by one. He is the epitome of that chumbawumba song.

I'm not a religious person, but i bet that the big man upstairs has a vacant seat right next to him set aside for big Jim, when the day arrives. Maybe it's the Demon and devil within Jim that's keeping him with us.

He is a living legend, and deserves his place as the equal most, if not the most important figure ever to be involved with the MFC. As NS and RBjr were with the club during the high times, Jim's led the ship during some of our darkest days. And as Jimmy says, that is what creates resilience.

One thing to do it when times are good, even more influential when times are bad.

I was wondering how he was going but didn't want to scare anyone by bumping the thread up lol

I can't remember the exact wording from Neil Mitchel but I loved it - something along the lines of us not believing he is a mear mortal

I know the odds are so stacked against him - I'm not that naive but like I said earlier in this thread where there's a will there is a way....his will is so strong, Its hard not to believe he can find a way

I had a right old chuckle at that & trying to picture him at an Enimen concert lol doesn't really go but who cares...cracked me up.

I think I've said it on Bigfooty before but what the heck....best Christmas present we could hope for...now for St Patrick to keep giving him that luck of the Irish!!!
