i was going through my old 'power to the people' magazines today and found the august 2001 issue, with the ironic leading story of 'nick stevens & bob quinn: loyalty has no end'...

if anyone wants to throw darts at it let me know and i'll pass it on, 'cos it's just going in the trash anyway.

it's the issue with the poster of jarrad schofield and the focus on cain ackland, if anyone's interested in it for anything else than pinning it to the dartboard.

How about a swap for a very limited edition, gold plated Paul Koulouriotis Dartboard?

Hey I will even throw in a set of steak knives just to throw at the board!

;)

I looked at the Nick Stevens/Bob Quinn story a bit after the whole episode...was quite frustrating reading it after everything that had happened!

Already got the magazine so waiting on other offers...

Does this mean that I am a pathetic traitor? I followed a VFL team which then became an AFL team but I gave them up to follow Port. By your logic anybody who followed a VFL/AFL team before Port entered the AFL is a pathetic traitor.

I will admit I still have a soft spot for my ex team but do not have membership anymore.

Maybe I should be known as footballphantom pathetic traitor

Yep that will do me.

The soft spot seems to have disappeared, but apart from that same here.

Yes I did check the profile. My point was that I really reckon that about 80% of Port supporters are traitors by his definition as most would have followed a VFL/AFL team before Port entered.

I bet a 95% or more barracked for Port Adelaide in the SANFL more than their VFL team.

Why do you think I'm going through my stuff? For fun? The less of it I own, the better.

And on the pathetic traitor bit, noting everything that has been said in response...
Thanks for the compliment. *bows slightly* That I deserve your pity is a great honour, and to be called a traitor and thus be counted in the ranks of Judas Iscariot, who followed the will of God, is even more so. Again, thank you.

Now shut up.

Hey "KG".
Even though Paul K. has gone, can we still expect you to give us training and game reports for our lads that play for Westies?
Hope so.

I used to follow individual players like Bradley, Phillips, Abernethy *drools* and Wangas rather than teams as such. Had a soft spot for Collingwood for a while when Phillips and Abba were there and Jack coached but that was very short lived....

There's always been only Port Adelaide for me too..

Would you like them? I may not be able to make it to all the Westies games but I can stilll let you know how Dom and Michael are going.

That would be real good as you have four players there in Hassan, Cassisi, Pettigrew and Champion.
This year Cassisi should play mainly AFL, but that is not a gimmie at this stage, and hopefully Champion will have a luckier year.
Be interesting to see how Pettigrew develops, and Hassan was probably unlucky not to get picked up in the draft proper.

Wade will probably start out in the reserves. Sal is an important part of our team but as a rookie I don't know if how he's going will be that important since we do hope nobody gets injured, and am I right in thinking you have a full list?

Sounds like me, always followed the Port players in the AFL.

I went to all of the Crows games in the early years just to follow the Port players, someone had to give some support to the likes of Hodges, D.Smith, Brown and Abernethy.
