I went yesterday.

Wasn't sure what to expect since I'm more of a golf guy, but I had fun. Saw Serena Williams win her match in about 45 minutes. Had really good seats for that one. Watched a bit of Woodbridge's mixed doubles before going inside (since it was about to rain) and managed to catch the second set of Hingis and Seles playing against Capriati and someone else.

Oh yeah, I also watched a women's doubles match with some obscure blond Russian named Kournikova, perhaps you all have heard of her?

Was almost perfect, except that the vendors ran out of frozen Coke. Damn.

Yep. I went on the first two days. (and got horribly burnt!) I had a grounds pass. Saw Andrew Ilie, Evie Dominikovic, Todd Woodbridge, Arthurs, Pratt, Schnyder (sp?), Rusedski and Nicholas Kiefer (and guess who caught his sweatband!!) play, and Venus Williams, Davenport and Dokic train.

no i havent been DAMN!!!
i've been watching it on tv every day.
I soooooo want Pat Rafter to win the tournament, it'll be so good to see him make one last big achievment before he retires.

good luck Pat!!!!

I've been watching on TV during the day and night sessions and also been keeping up to date on the AusOpen website.

I might be going to the Davis Cup in February when it comes to town, should be good

Pats in pretty good form. Wouldnt surprise me if he got up for the win although he will have to beat Sampras or Agassi which is no easy task.

I can handle the fighting, its the affection i cant stand and i dont mind us talking just dont try to touch my hand.

I've been four times. On the Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Had centre court on Monday and Tuesday, though on Thursday and Friday had day passes. Each day was fantastic, can't get enough of the tennis.

How about that flair that was thrown on court when Ana K was playing??

I went to the tennis for the first time ever on friday and thoroughly enjoyed it. i had a seat in Rod Laver Arena, but spent all day at Vodafone Arena as I wanted to see Pat Rafter play.
The only down point was the price of food, even worse than the footy.
But I will certainly go again.

Same Olds - Want i meant was that i expected Sampras to beat Martin and then Sampras and Agassi would face off so either way Rafter had to go by one of them. Anyway i think the Semi Finals will look like this :

Rafter vs Agassi
Moya vs Kafelnikov
