Roast Anyone else sick of the umpire "putting the whistle away" in the dying minutes of a game?

I'd rather wonder where exactly the umpire was storing his whistle when mumford tried to rip a guys head off. I have a fair idea where he was storing it.

They need to announce when it is time for the umpires to “put it away” and have a countdown the crowd can get into. How good would it be? Five minutes left, no more htb, sling tackles encouraged, sliding legs, throwing punches, big karate kicks to the face etc.
The time known as....the purge

Random question but when did the AFL get rid of the below the knees rule? I thought it was a bad rule initially, especially how it was crazy over officiated, but I have seen a few incidents where players have taken someones legs out and not gotten the ball, and in some cases gotten an in the back or high contact free incorrectly.

Fine with it, it's probably the only time in a match where both teams get treated equally

Under umpired>>>>>>Over umpired
Free kicks are in the game for a reason. If the free is there, pay it.
