Anyone interested in meeting at games?

Hey ppl. my membership has recently come through & want to get to as many games as i can this year. Unfortunately most of my friends follow either Essendon,Carlton or Richmond (i pity the fools!..no class or taste) If anyone is interested in catching any of our games at either the G or the Dome pls. let me know.

Unfortunately im in the same boat except most of the people i know dont follow the footy and its a drag travelling almost 2 hours on public transport alone. ( although i still do it cos i wouldnt miss a game for anything) So yeah im interested.

Hey guys, there is an 'unofficial' meeting place for many Hawk fans before MCG games at the London Tavern just down the road from Richmond train station. Also if you dont mind standing a congregation of internet people have met up over the last few seasons at M10 standing area of the 'G'.

Always happy to see new faces.

Look to the boards for more details on times etc as the opening round draws closer.

Yeah sounds good. Where do you guys meet at Colonial? I think i might have seen some of you in the Locker Room bar.

Anyway Chimphawk28, i live closer to Rosebud, but i guess we are on the same train line anyway. Have you ever thought about taking the Hawthorn bus which runs from Rosebud and stops at Dromana, Mornington and Frankston? It takes ya virtually to the front gates at the G. From memory Concession is $5 and Adult is $8

P.S. I know this question probably belongs in the Computing section but how do you copy what others have said? Does it have anything to do with the quote button down the bottom?

Yep your right. To copy what others have said you can press the quote button down the bottom right corner of someones post. Can copy the quote and edit it if it suits you.

Yeah well the bus is a good option. Not too many go on it unfortunately. The club was going to stop it at the end of last year because it was running on a loss from lack of numbers. But to the clubs credit they have kept it going.
