In 1997, it was the Crows that knocked the Bulldogs out of the finals. The Crows did it again in 1998.
Although in 1999 the lions got rid of the Doggies and they did it again this year.
So this is the pattern:

1997- Adelaide
1998- Adelaide
1999- Brisbane
2000- Brisbane

Who will knock them out next year-or will they go all the way next year? (not likely but anything can happen

at least the dogs have made the finals the last 4 years, unlike the 'unco' tigers, who make funny attempts of trying to make finals action every year without success. I was the happiest man alive when carlton demolished the pitiful Tigers in round 22. _ suffer richmond in dammnation. If you think i'm harsh well you probably haven't meet the feral tiger fans i have in melbourne. It is very easy to critisize other clubs achivements especially if your a tiger supporter.

You are an idiot. I never once criticised the dogs. I was just stating the facts. Where did all that abuse come from anyway? what did i do to you??? Or what did I do to the dogs???
You have no right to abuse me.

97 - 98 Adelaide
99 - 2000 Brisbane
01 - 02 Carlton
03 - 04 Collingwood ( but who knows how they'll make a final by then)
05 - 06 Essendon
07 - 08 Geelong (how are freo gonna beat them)
09 - 10 Hawthorn and probaly win the flag then too under coach Ayres
11 - 12 Kangaroos but bomb the folowing week
13 - 14 Melbourne
15 - 16 Port Power eventually they'll be OK
17 - 18 Richmond this is the first time since 95 they'll make a final
19 - 20 Sydney under the Lockett - Roos coaching team
21 - 22 Southport Saints
23 - 24 West Coast
25 They'll finally win one

Dons-r-tops,
If you can guarantee that (a premiership in 2025), I'll gladly take that with open arms. Good enough for me, and probably for most doggies supporters I reckon. Don't care when that ONE DAY comes, as long as it's my lifetime.

Doggies premiers in 2025!!!

I wondered if there is a pattern to Essendon at all. Last year they lost to a Carlton team that lost their first final. Could it happen again? Carlton lost their first final, will prolly beat Brisbane and match up with Essendon again in the preliminary final. Hopefully history repeats itself :)
