We more or less have a day and a half to trade Grigg, Jacobs and Thornton (unless something happens in the last 2 and a half hours of the day), or we lose them for free. Preferably, i am sure the Carlton board are keen on trading Walker, and i have no idea what the contract status of Sentanta is, and whether he is out of contract as well. That's a lot to do in a day and a half. I'm getting slightly worried that we will run out of time, and get nothing for anyone, and lose 3 players for nothing, when we could get some handy players. Anyone else worried about the time limit at hand?

Not at all. Wayne Hughes does his best work in the rookie draft. Anything we get before then is a bonus. :D

Trade week is always boring until the last day.. I thought it ended on Friday like usual and was shocked to see nothing got done yesterday, then I noticed it ran a few days more.. All the trades will get resolved tomorrow.. Most of them probably have already been agreed on just being lazy with handing the papers in

It was mentioned earlier in the week that the Jacobs deal was unlikely to go ahead before Monday.

I'm sure lots of progress has been made on all accounts and things will begin to happen, although I still don't expect us to have a confirmed trade until Monday.

EDIT: Activity! Well there you go!

Don't have to worry about Grigg any more :)

Everyone worries all week every year, every year Swann and Icke leave us very happy by the end of the week. I hate all the waiting and the speculation but I've learnt to have faith in these guys. Imagine how bad it would be if we were like Adelaide, Richmond and Brisbane.

I'm sure most of the groundwork has been done. Really it takes a matter of minutes to finalize a deal and with almost 48 hours to go I'm sure we can get at least 50 trades done!

Get cracking Blue boys! :)

Fair enough. I'm liking the look of Kurt Tippet. Does that compute with you? :D
I would love him :p, but no chance.

Talia is lazy and quite uninterested in football. He isnt motivated to improve, he just enjoys playin with his mates, but doesnt have that drive to really improve.

It wouldnt bother him one bit, if he didnt play AFL.

Not worried in the slightest, the only priority left is Jacobs. If the others stay it's not the end of the world, they're contracted and in Setanta and Thorntons case will be very handy backups.

Saying that, they'll get traded. So nothing to worry about at all.
