Congratulations to Taylor Adams, Tim Broomhead, Corey Gault, Adam Oxley, Jackson Ramsay, Marley Williams and Jack Crisp and how could I forget Travis Varcoe.

I'm a bit surprized to find out Williams hasn't played in an ANZAC day clash, its feels like he's been around for a while. Adams contested ball wining should come in handy for a big game like this. I didn't expect Jack Crisp to play too many games this year but now he looks comfortable best 22.

Corey Gault, Adam Oxley, Jackson Ramsay and Tim Broomhead all have played 10 games or less but I think they all have what it takes.

Edit: Its Also Travis Varcoe's first Anzac clash. Wonder who will be on the wrecking ball's radar this week.

I very happy for Oxley and Ramsay. They have worked hard and persevered through the vfl for a fair while and made the most of their opportunity so far.. Don't think anyone had them in best 22 predictions in the pre season.

I feel a bit for PK, especially how we hear about this boyhood dream of playing for Collingwood. Imagine how excited he would have been to potentially play on ANZAC day.

There's little doubt that this day serves as great practice for our young and new players for when we get back into the finals.

Even having De Goey and Moore as emergencies means they will experience everything the day has to offer, bar the intensity of the game.

There wouldn't be too many years where we've had 8 debutants on this day, shows where we are.
