In my opinion the AFL has over commercialised the ANZAC round and it could resolve this somewhat by having a heritage round using gurnseys without advertising.
For example, at the Manchester derby that commemorated the air disaster of the team both sides wore jumpers without advertising.
If all clubs during the round auctioned off the match worn jumpers and donated proceeds to returned servicemen it would be an improvement.
If the AFL is going to be making money out of the ANZACs then they should be giving back as well.
Compare the minimalist and the crowded.
