That presupposes Sandy Roberts knows something about tennis.

He and Bruce McAveny somehow manage to sneak into the coverage on the basis of football-mad Victorians thinking that they're commentary geniuses.

I don't see why Woodbridge can't partner Courier. He speaks well and actually knows something about the game. All Bruce offers is latent homosexual comments about players and dumb questions.

Its horrible for the night sessions in Perth as per usual

Alas, for Perth Audiences, the tournament's important matches, the final for men's and women's are on delayed

I thought the BS anti-siphoning laws stipulated that the AO Open has to be shown on SD-FTA, live and in its entirety? Or do the laws only apply for Melbourne and Sydney?

One of the positives is that they still show the tennis on 7two when they go to the news on 7.

Channels should do this with all major sporting events really.

I didn't realise australia was the only country with a flag.

Yeah, just in case we didn't know Hewitt and Stosur are Australian

Leave the tennis on 72 - there is nothing decent on 72 anyway. But I am sure they can only show one 'match' at a time.

And among the 7 'personalities', Griggs has to be the worst. She hosts one show a week and gets rolled out for this. :thumbsd:

I'm pretty sure anti-siphoning laws would stipulate that the AO must be on 7 rather than 7two.

Plus not all analogue signals have been turned off yet so there is still probably people out there without digital TV (very small percentage I would say).

Sorry of this has been posted before, but does anybody know a site to stream the tennis from?

In england for Wimbledon, all you need is the Freeview box for BBC
and you can actually watch all the matches for Wimbledon on Freeview, without needing to subscribe to pay tv

So....we are not in England..as I said get Fox.

Ch 7 have sunk to a new low with Basil bloody Zempilas commentating now, is there a single decent Tennis commentator in Australia that isn't American?

I'm hoping Isner loses just so I don't have to hear Hamish calling him "Long John" every 2 minutes.

Nearly lost it when Hamish called Dolgopolov - Dogopolov.... unless the first l really is silent and i am misinformed.

He (Hamish) is still a muppet.

Do you mean "dolgo-polov", almost seperately? I hate Hamish but that is how you pronounce it.
He called Bachiner "bashinger" and Kohlschreiber some weird Kohlschreeber or something.
In the past I've heard him call Jelena Dokic Elena Dokic, on several occasions. I mean you idiot there's a J there.
