It really does show that people are not happy with 7's coverage this year, and add to that that one day cricket is apparently in "decline", and you have a near disaster for 7.

Of course they will. And how ****in annoying it is, spend two hours getting engrossed in a match only to be cut off. I wouldn't mind so much in the early rounds but at this stage of the tournament it's just ridiculous and makes a mockery of televising it in the first place. **** you 7!

A.Roddick is not an Aussie.... heck if Lleyton was playing i doubt that they would hold off the news. If they did it, it would likely throw the night session out of whack (ie: it won't be just WA that ends up delayed... it'll be delayed EVERYWHERE ).

Just rang up and put in a complaint. How come Channel 9 can push forward their news to 5:30 in Adelaide to accomodate the cricket yet for one freaking day Channel 7 can't push the news back to say 6:30?

3AW just spoke to reps from Tennis Australia & Ch7. Gerard & Dwayne asking those questions we'd all like to ask.

Ch 7 general manager said they had trouble with scheduling because the result of a match was "too unpredictable".

That comment demonstrates perfectly how Ch 7 aren't letting the tennis drama unfold naturally, and want to package it all in pre-determined hype.
