Nah, well we had to sit through a five minute My Kitchen Rules promo with Henri Laconte and Jim Courier which was not funny at all. In fact, it was quite possibly a new low for the Channel 7 coverage of the Tennis.

Channel 7's tennis coverage is an unmitigated joke. It doesn't matter what time the Stosur match was on. The real question is why was it not on one of 7's digital channels?

But are channel 7 doing enough to change those laws? Are they vocal in the media that they want to present the Australian viewing public with the best possible tennis coverage? I don't think so. They care little about the Australian public.

A disturbing trend I have noticed so far in the coverage for the Brisbane tournament is that they are coming back from ads after the first point has been played and on a couple of occassions after 2 points have been played. This is absolute crap.

watch during the aus open. after every set, they will come back after the first game has been played and won. they do it every year

oh heven forbit and AUSTRALIAN station should show Australian matches to an Australian Audience first - I mean im sure American stations wouldnt show American matches into America of French stations show French players into france first....as if they'd do a stupid thing like that

there are worse things 7 do with the coverage IMHO such as delaying matches, not comming back from adds in time, stopping coverage half way through matches etc.

Thank goodness for foxtel really....

It's annoying when it's done at the expense of a far better match, especially when it's women's at the expense of men's.
Besides which Aussies are you that keen to watch? We don't have any good players, besides Stosur, and she plays women's tennis which - let's be honest - is far inferior to men's tennis.
