Has anyone actually confirmed that Glendinning was spat on? He hasn't said anything about it. Hate to hear if it is true, but after the so called "Connolly being spat on" on bull being spread around, it's easy to think it could be a beat up.

I read both articles and both mention that a fan ran down and spat "at" him. The spit "on" him claims have only been mentioned on threads here that I've noticed.

While one offence is worse than the other, I would be happy to the back of members who would do either.

rubbish. I as well as many people I know support Freo as a second team. Not as a joke or because we pity them but because they are fellow West Aussies, I respect them (in general) and they have huge potential. On their day, they are great to watch. You wont find even one post on here by me laughing at or pitying your side, in fact, I like to join in your discussions in the hope of perhaps giving you a different perspective but one that isnt bitter. And for the record, I also know many Freo fans who feel the same about the Eagles.

Ross Glendinning is a legend of the game and a true gentleman. The club should take every step possible to assertain whether this report is true or not. If it is true then the club has a responsibility to it's members and supporters to hunt the animal(s) down and ensure that they are never again allowed to attend a game of AFL.

I cant believe tho the self righteous crap we're hearing the precious flowers from The West and certain fans from other teams.

Alot of the fans, I dont think understand the depth of feeling and dislike Freo has for the Eagles, that in itself probably explains why there were even boos for Judd. Had it been another team it probably wouldnt have got any reaction other than disappointment.

And in your post you have highlighted how the whole thing happened. I find it ironic that you go from condemning the actions of Freo fans who spit at Glendinning, and then talk about West Coast fans complaints as being "self rightous crap" yet seem to see no link between the two.
