I liked the bit where he was out pointed in a marking dual by Benny Sinclair...promising signs.
I knew when Peter Bell outpointed Josh Fraser and took a mark in the goal square that his career was well and truly done.
That was 2009 I think.

Nicks went to shit a few years ago.
If you thought the in fighting is bad on here, then you should read the threads on there not 1 topic/thread doesn't end up over run by tit for tat posting.
Rarely do you get any insider info like you used to on nicks, the dynamics of the site has changed, has a constant war vs realistic posters , one eyed (club does no wrong types) and trolls.
Yes thats right also little on Maynard and even MooreBeen no Mention of Aish this Pre-Season

Can't write every player is training the house down. There are always going to be the quiet achievers pre season time.Moore has been mentioned a few times. I have not heard about Maynard this year
Kirby has been training regularly, not sure where you got the idea he's MIA. He's apparently gone to the indigenous camp in WA this week, along with McCarthy.Thank you for taking the time to write this up Neil it's very appreciated by a lot of people and better then what the club provides us, which this preseason has been pretty much sweet fa on the mens team except we went to bounce for a play twice...
ON Kale Kirby do you know if he is injured because it appears as if he has been MIA since his first training session in thongs...hopefully it isn't a case of he is struggling to adjust to an AFL regime.

Honestly? Unfit. He has a lot of work to do still on the track to even come close to playing senior footy.Cheers mate, yeah just every training report I have been reading has the poster saying he didn't see him out there or not in attendance.
How is he looking Apex?
Been no Mention of Aish this Pre-Season
Thx I wrote it.Awesome report and quite exciting to read.
Has Dunn gotten a nose job and an Advanced Hair Yeah Yeah replacement?Shade has done Ok but Dunn has been something of a surprise for me. Plenty of grunt and uses it well. What I really like is his leadership down back. Works well with his Demon-mate Howe.

Nicks is ok IMO, I actually enjoyed the great Lollipop wars of 13-14-15.Nicks went to shit a few years ago.

You're better off playing one of the kids, he is an ineffective forward. Can't take contested marks. Here's to hoping he's improved.Keeffe is being groomed for the forward/ruck position because:
Darcy too valuable to ruck yet
Cox too inexperienced
White too short for ruck part of the job
McClarty McCarthy Lynch all too young
Keeffe isn't the best choice, at 204cms he's the only choice.
I am sure as collective we have more ideas. But Mayne touted as fwd line leader would have surprised many. Keeffe in the fwd line ditto. Thanks for the report, I don't post at Nicks anymore, i don't know why it still exists? Rubbish site. I'm still surprise that Dunn, Mayne & Keefe are surprising ppl? Surely buy now ppl would know that internally the footy department have more idea than us????
Sent from my warped mind
I can't say I'm stoked to hear Keeffe is splitting his time between the forwards and defenders. He is a nothing forward. If we truly intend to play him there we're shooting ourselves in the foot.
He has a chance as a defender and I would think he needs as much time as possible to settle into the defensive structures as possible. I don't see the logic personally. Perhaps he was just filling a practice role while McCarthy is away? Wishful thinking maybe.

I agree that he is a better defender, but Bucks said himself that we know what Keeffe can do down back. Trying to see if he can add another string to his bow to pinch hit up forward/2nd ruck if required isn't a bad idea. This is my recollection too. Bit surprised the club - Bucks? - seems to have amnesia about this.
Now we have a drill called Shape/Transition, which is match simulation concentrating on ball movement; it’s a big part of the game plan. Buckley barks instructions and two young umpires take control. B&W v Red. Adams, Crisp, Treloar, Grundy V. Cox, Pendles, DeGoey, Greenwood in the middle.
