Crisp has "walked out" according to the rumour mill?

Didn't Tom Browne say a few weeks back that the club has opened contract talks with him early?
Again this rumour makes no logical sense.

Why walk when there is nowhere to walk too (trade time is done)?

If remotely true, where is the media throng asking Collingwood what’s with JC?

A guy who hadn’t missed a game, youngish dad... why would he risk all that? And for what?

Smells very untrue.

It smells untrue, I just wish someone in the media asked about why Crisp hasn't trained when given the opportunity.

He might have a tweek; just not announced as not thought significant.

Media are jackals so I’d expect a throng by now.

Are you guys discussing Sheahan’s tweet about about a player in trouble with the law for an incident on a motorbike?

Yes. Liking all tweets suggesting it's De Goey. yet De Goey trained as usual this morning.

Do you know the injury? We were discussing both De Goey and Crisp.

No idea I just thought it was clear he’s being held back due to some injury and the club are doing what they do in not keeping us informed. Talk of walking out on the club from either appeared odd to me.

Yeah, I suspect there's nothing sinister happening with Crisp, but I asked the question because the club is not listing him on the injury list. There are always people speculating about all sorts of things at training.

I had no idea about these DeGoey references. If DeGoey is in any sort of trouble, he doesn't looked bothered at all. He spent as much time as any player signing autographs and posing for photos. I've been critical of his attitude in this regard in the past, but today marked a significant change. He looked to enjoy interactions with his fans. Nice to see.

Tom Phillips, for the record, is the most relaxed and natural Collingwood man on our list when it comes to dealing with the public, followed by Appleby and Grundy.

One of the players did mention about 6 players got off season surgery, so Crisp could just be one of them, and even though he isn't even running like Howe or Crocker or Aish, maybe they decided to hold off on him til the new year. Each surgery could have been different. Maybe he got knee surgery and couldn't run.

Everything I have heard about Flippa makes him sound like the most genuine bloke we have at the club, in a club that appears to be full of them.

I don’t think we helped him by getting his matchup wrong, but we might as well have played with 21 given what he offers if he isn’t shutting someone out. It’s the biggest issue with those types especially with his league worst ball use.
He shut Yeo entirely out in the first half.

We persist with that matchup and let Adams go head to head with Shuey and we probably get it done I reckon. Though you can’t fault Buckley’s decision to try and take Shuey out of the game.

Really became a game of inches.
Which we just lost those few inches.

To be honest that surprises me. I've only witnessed and heard positive things about Jordan in terms of fan interaction all of his career
That’s what I’ve heard, always fine with supporters and kids.

But it is possible he’s lifted an extra peg or two.

I think he’s maturing and reallsing what advantages he has and respecting that.

Becoming a good egg.

Did everyone including the injured players, sign autographs? Or was it just those who participated in training?
Wasn't everyone. Pretty sure Pendles, Maynard, Crocker, Adams, and a few others went inside before end of training and didn't sign anything. But most others did such as Jordy, Cal Brown, Daicos, Stevo, Elliott, Mayne, Roughy, irish boys, Grundy, Coxy, Langers, Appleby, Phillips, Sidey, JT signed plus the girls.

Thanks Jen2310

No Treloar then. He usually likes to get involved with the fans etc.

I reckon you’d be a shoe in for this years best new poster.

Loving what you bring especially the training stuff.
It’s appreciated.

Cheers. You're welcome. It certainly helps in the off-season to attend training sessions.

No, treloar wasn't there. Seems like a few of the ones from Monday weren't there today; whether that was because of the intense of the session on Monday or whatever reason. Hopefully they'll be back out there on Friday.
