  • Remember this guy, Collingwood fans?...
  • That’s why these images will warm the hearts of Magpie fans looking for a way to go one better in 2020.
  • Elliott looked in great shape...
I can’t believe we lose back to back Grand Finals.

What the * Collingwood :(

Wait - are we entering a team into the NBA now as well?

Punters aren't going to be happy at the next AGM...
But at least we’ll rake in All that American greenback..

Are you implying that our footballers lack IQ?
Until now our team lacked IQ;
Now the team has IQ we should be smarter in our decision making.

Will IQ be the new Heath Shaw

:D

(I’ll see myself out ....)

  • Remember this guy, Collingwood fans?
  • Forward Jamie Elliott is the Magpies’ forgotten man after missing the entire 2018 season as the Pies charged to the Grand Final.

The 26-year-old won the club goalkicking in 2017 before last season was derailed by ankle surgery and hamstring problems.

  • That’s why these images will warm the hearts of Magpie fans looking for a way to go one better in 2020.
  • Elliott looked in great shape as the full Magpies squad trained in 35-degree heat today, taking part in running drills and ball work in a pair of flashy pink boots.
  • Boom recruit (o_O) Darcy Moore and top draft pick Isaac Quaynor were among the other Pies to catch the eye at the Holden Centre.
  • Elliott and Darcy Moore have just returned from Germany, where they visited world-renowned hamstring specialist Dr Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt.

Collingwood hopes the trip will be a circuit-breaker in both players’ injury-plagued careers.

The Pies needed just one more goal to claim the 2019 premiership. Given Elliott has kicked 30-plus goals in every season he has managed more than 15 games, keeping him on the park will be a priority next year.

Imagine this man terrorising oppo backlines again next year with Stevo, WHE, JDG Woowee.....

I’m not sure what’s funnier. BJ’s suggestion or the amount of chatter a time trial has generated

The only observation I can make so far is that Elliott is seriously lacking conditioning. He looks like he’s been in the same paddock as Wells and nursing him through to build him up frightens me!

Got some photos? Elliott looked in decent nick from what i've seen.

You mean the Hun pics? The lack of muscle definition in his legs and arms was a bit of a giveaway to me and I’m happy to stick with the clubs video footage of him on the track :thumbsu:

Not worth getting wound up about what somebody says on the Internet. We all have our personalities and foibles and bad days.

Anyway, my opinion about it ...

... we happily accept that finals games are a lot more intense. Why would they be? Shouldn’t footy players and their coaches always put 100% no matter the game?

I guess it’s human nature that our effort usually depends on what is on the line.

This time of year, there’s not much in the way of motivation. Sure, players put in 100% now, but towards the end of off-season when players are competing for spots then the 100% then is even bigger.

I personally have a curious mind so I’m the type that has a desire to understand the why behind BJ getting wound up...

If we get Jamie back on the park full time next year and have a decent run with injuries for the first time in nearly a decade - watch out!
He is a difference maker.
Fit, firing, up to his level we’ve seen, then watch out.

Be another prize for us.

Have a read of Darcy's comments regarding his shirt...….classic.

I think some people are taking social media banter between mates a bit too seriously. Makes me think everyone here is just the Real Bozza using alt accounts.

Not sure if serious.

I agree with Sco……..Elliott is obviously not in pristine condition...….so what?

By the way what is it with your obsession with Real Bozza anyway?

My comments and the reactions indicate that people have differing views on what good conditioning looks like in early December. Whether it’s right or wrong it seems our view is just stricter than others...
