He performs at a level to win this 30% of the time. No wonder the price shortened. 1200m the obvious concern he may not do it that often.
Still dirty the day he was 30:1 on the fair in the everest wasn't one of those days. Ridiculous price given what he did very next start.
PS the obvious bet here is Bivouac provided it's somewhat firm ground.

More of an indication that form analysts are struggling to know when he will peak. Fresh, 1000m, not pressured, straight race have all proven false indicators. People try make a pattern, it just may mean there is no pattern.

His inconsistency pre-dates Waller but it's much worse these days. Would struggle to believe a horse like him could have throat issues but would explain stopping dead some times, even if it's just mentally he's expecting pain which is common in horse population. I think Waller/sprinter is of some concern.

Except last start when it won at over $3 when it was a genuine even money chance
Nah he's only ever started longer than $5 once which was in the Everest
19 starts for 12 wins as fav, although he's definitely more inconsistent now under Waller

Geez - anyone brave enough to take even money RELOADED in the Cabrine - seems a skinny price for a horse that looks a total non-winner
