Does anyone think the VicMetro trials this Saturday will change the outcomes of any of the APS games ?

I assume a lot of the best players will be trying out - I heard there are quite a few from St Kevs.

St. Kevin's are working hard at getting Libba & Wallis out of the trial game so they can play school footy I believe, can anyone confirm whether it worked or are they playing Metro?

Wesley lose Cassidy to Metro - big loss, but hard to say whether it will automatically change the game's result.
 
Skevs lost today by 3 goals to Wesley. Metro boys didnt play (Conway, wallis libba for skc and cassidy for wesley); skevs wouldve won if they were allowed to play, but full credit to wesley. They have alot of depth through their team.

I disagree. Wesley were missing at least 5 key players through illness and injury and also had about 15 more scoring shots

skevs now having to rely on a wesley slip up to get back into the race. big game against xavier for skevs next week. who faces up to wesley?

you would expect wesley to win that one. however geelong grammar seem considerably stronger than in past years with several vic country blokes i'm led to believe (can anyone confirm this?), so i doubt it will be a one sided affair.
 
the aps comp looks interesting this year.

good to see some of the traditional cellar dwellers in WC have a shot at the title and always a pleasure to see SC at the bottom :thumbsu:

hopefully skevs can rebound next week at XC

Heard from mates there that they've got 5. 2 of them were injured this weekend. Showed a fair bit in their loss to BGS yesterday (missing those 5 and the fullback through injury)
 
Scotch lost to Caulfield by about 5 goals I heard.

what a game!! that punch on at half time with all the supporters closing in was brilliant!!
wallis and libba were goso as always especially wallis i thought. conway was the real star with 6 goals
