skevs won there only title in 97 after going close thru most of the mid 90's.

i would say skevs has a tough run home , have got MGS,BGS,WC,XC & GC.
I reckon the only game you might be able to have any confidence in is against WC but last year Wesley beat Skevs so nothing is a certainty.
Competition is very even this year, it would be good to see the premiership go to 1 school and not 3 though.... thats just freakin ridiculous

The Game starts at 2pm on Friday at Todd Rd because GGS break up on Thursday. GGS with big names back but highly unlikey to cause any problems to a pretty strong MGS side.

i doubt anyone will be drafted from MGS but they probobly should be looked at. people like carter lapin shaw and a few NT guys. there won;t be any drafted this year but in the next few years there will be at least 3

the MGS coach got a call from a few recruiters asking for some footage of past games. I would expect them to be looking at the year 12 guys ie. Shaw, Lapin, Carter, Ah Chee, Hale, Heenan, Macciolli

Heenan: wouldnt be surprised if he was picked up. i would be thinking rookie list. Shaw: Was best a field in the haileybury game. where i know there were alot of scouts. Ah Chee/Lapin: strong inside types. will go close, but will have to have a massive second half of the year to be drafted.
There are also some younger boys who will go close.

Mitchell, May and Keath are all u16's this year and will almost all definitely go.
