Why have you discounted Xavier as being the best 10As side?
Is it because the 9As from last year won 7 and lost 3?
If that's your reasoning, consider this...
5 new boarders will come straight into the side. Guns like Jordan Taylor and Charlie Woodley who will dominate the comp.
Xavier don't need to promote ANY of their Yr 10s to the seniors as they have the most depth in the APS with 8 Senior (Yr 11/12) sides and arguably the best 1st XVIII squad in the comp.
All of the other APS sides need to promote their top few Yr 10s to their 1sts just to stay competitive.
Essentially.... Xavier is going to smash you![]()
hahaha agreedAfter talking themselves up for much of the pre-season with these new so-called gun palyers, haven't heard anything from the Xavier yr 10's after being smashed by an under-performing mgs by 58 pts.
Xavier were very average and probs won't do a whole lot this year.
the players mentioned above for grammar played well.
good side
Macciolli, hale, risby, dean also.who was that sorry?
what about grant klemmMacciolli, hale, risby, dean also.
good players.
MGS should be strong, but not favourites at this stage
ah yeah he played well aswell. lolwhat about grant klemm
No, because Skevs will need to promote their good Yr 10s up to the 1sts to try and stay competitive. Scotch and Xavier don't have to do that, plus they have an injection of quality boarders (incl aboriginees) at that level. You won't beat them.
Mitch Bradley looks the goods, his determination is like no other
