Xavier beat grammar by about 15 point. Dont no the exact score. Grammar kicked the first four goals and at quater time looked as if they would smash xavier. Mitchelmore was looking dangerous at the start with 4 shots at goal but then pirrie was forced to tag him and didnt get another shot at goal. Half time xavier were up by 5 points and ran away with it last quater MGS got a few goals to make the scoreline not look as bad but this has proven Xavier are the best team in the APS.
Best:
Williams, Grigg, Heffernan, Pirrie, Edwards

yeah but mate mgs can definantely beat xavier, the xavier boys gave mgs nooooo chance when they ran on, and were completely shocked at what mgs produced, should be an awesome contest then the two teams meet again, next year. MGS have scotch brighton caufield wesley then skevs, so in theory could have a resonably succesful season with not great teams after scotch

true, seems like MGS and Xavier are the clear front runners in terms of who will 'win' the 'premiership' this year. Both losing players to the firsts as well. Are SKC any good or as good as they talked them selves up to be?

geelong college are looking good to beat xavier this weekend.

Xavier basicaly won by four goals but MGS got two goals in the last two minuted one from a free kick then a 50 meter so the score line doesnt represent the dominance. MGS wont be able to beat Xavier unless they get more scholarships. Yes they had a good first quater but Xavier only had one less scoring shot then them. At the end of the game Xavier one by 2 goals with 7 more scoring shots so how MGS think they can beat Xavier is beyond me. Geelong College if they are still as good as they were in year 8 should be Xaviers last test. Xavier will win the premiership easily they wont drop a game and havent been pushed yet this year.
MGS drew with Caulfield Grammar so i wouldnt be utting them in the same league as Xavier just yet dont get to ahead of yourself yet boys.
End of year Ladder
Xavier
MGS
Scotch
Caulfield
St Kevins
Geelong College
Hailerbury
Brighton Grammar
Geelong Grammar
Wesley

mate, no offence. Geelong College will not beat Xavier. To be fair, if Geelong loses by under 50 points it will be a good effort from them. Someone should get some sort of a ladder going, so we can see how everyone is really going

i know Xavier = 4-0
Grammar = 3-1
Scotch = 3-1
Hailebury = 1-3
St. Kevins = 3-1?
Geelong = 2-2?

Skevs the bye in round 3, so that would make us 2-1

Boys, don't underestimate Wesley this year. Finally have got some talls back as well as a few key players- injuries have plagued the team over the last few years, but this year apart from a few yr 10's playing 1st's the team is full strength. Started the season well winning their first 3 games against Geelong, Xavier (2nd side though) and Brighton. Lost to St Kevs badly- but did have some gun players out.

Keep an eye on Toby Greene, Kenny Ong, Ben Darrou, Tom Curran and Jimmy Doughety carving up the field.

well then who did wesley 10A's play at St.Kilda road two weekends ago??
they do have a team.. but they dont deserve to be called a team as they are so bad.

haileyburyrunnner is back after a short lived retirement, haileybury are 1-3 and had the bye last week, boys are fresh and raring to go, misery and injury free, 3 outs due to first commitments, oppurtunity for young guns to stand up.
shoudl be a good game,
with bloods set to boost percentage
in true haileybury runnner fashion ill give my tip, BLOODS BY 623.

st kevins had a shocking day,
it was actually embarrassing to watch.
st kevins 4.13
Brighton 9.4
although skevies had 10 of their definate starters for a's not playing they still should of beat brighton, they had half a's half b's n still only lost by three goals or so. some of the players out will be out for a few weeks, so the next two against haileybury should be pretty close, skevs will have mostly b's playing those games. they cant say theylost cos they had so many out thou, they just played shocking football.
players out were...
Adam fricot (1st)
Seb purcell (1st)
wheeler (injured)
brendan cain
Darcee gilligan
pat de jeur
castricum
toohey
lochie nankervis
henry parkes
All are big names for skevies. n thats more than half their team.
hopefully some come back for the haileybury match..
