Had some shockers from people, but all part of the game.

In duos, one group claimed friendly, and we were looting up together for a while, then another group came, also claimed friendly. We were chatting then all of a sudden the original group jus kills my mate in the back, so of course I drop him the guy that killed him, but then the new group are like wtf and light me up (as you would). Just idiocy.


Another game, two people were chasing a griefer - I let them run off as there was a body that died to arcs which was unlooted I was trying to get to. I started to go for the body and they came back and shot me thinking I was the griefer. I said to hold up and one of them said I wasn't the person they were looking for. In the meantime the evac is about to close, so one guy jumps in quickly (I was still thinking about the loot on the body so didn't want to evac yet). Then the one left just downs me and said "why didn't you evac you campaigner?" "I'm still looting" "Well now you're dead".
Some people just had terrible parents.

Even in solos now it's mostly shoot on sight. Bit of a shame as I enjoy the interaction on comms.
Also it just makes me play that way as self-preservation which doesn't come naturally - I'd almost always rather team up or just let people go about their business.
 
Yeah your mileage will vary. Definitely encourages self preservation coz he who hits first normally wins.

I’ve just been hoarding hatch keys in response.
 
Only just discovered this, really enjoying it so far.

My experience is if you go out in pairs or solo its pretty chilled.

If you go out in a 3 thats when it seems to be a bloodbath.
 
boncer! Welcome on board, it's a great game.

I'm now around 130 hrs top side. Not sure how that sits comparatively but I feel like I've been playing a fair bit.

I should finish in Hotshot for this season which was a goal, Cantina Legend would be wayy too insane. I've got around 4mil coins all good to go for Expedition, so I'm planning to just splurge my inventory on mostly losing it in pvp before reset.

I feel bad though as I'm in the most friendly lobbies at the moment due the the matchmaking, I'm going to feel bad for the kills along the way getting myself into pvp lobbies again.

Came across a new type of rat behaviour though, groups that join the solo queue together on matriarch and queen events to pvp and are clearly communicating in discord. I've seen gangs of up to 5 or 6 players doing this.
Fair enough if you want to grief the PVE players doing the events, but at least have the balls to join on your own into solos. If you want to team up, create a proper group and go into trios you cowards.

Haven't experienced it myself but have seen many complaints on steam. I'm all about 'play to win' but not by abusing the rules. Hopefully they find a way to prevent it.

Who's still going?

My bro recently bought the game so been doing duos a bit with him. Unfortunately he's a blood thirsty pvp monster haha. Any games I play with him put me into agro lobbies which does make doing other aspects of the game harder (trials/projects/blueprint farming/etc) but that's all part of it.

In general, just working on finishing the trophy case and the 3rd expedition. Still not max level yet tho after the 2nd reset.
