yeah dipper, i cant quite remember the standard of umpiring whilst we were batting (woeful no doubt though), but the two i mentioned really stuck firmly in my memory because they were ridiculous decisions close to the end of the match that snuffed out any chance we had of winning.

i remember the standard of umpiring whilst touring india though. it was criminal. that harbhajan hatrick is testament to that. Gilchrist got a king pair that match, and both LBW's were not out. the one in the first innings, without exaggeration, would have pitched a foot outside leg stump. mark waugh also was victim to 2 bat pads that series, both of which he missed clearly, and was painfully obvious with the naked eye.

thankfully we have neutral umpires now. some of those cheating umpires needed to be prosecuted over that.... and here we are getting up players for match fixing.
