Gws won't dominate next year or the year after they had there chance for a few years and blew it. Other teams have caught up and will pass them next year will be a bottom 8 team making up the numbers.

I think most of us agree that the AFL has given GWS so many concessions in the hope that the GWS can crack the Sydney market at the expense of the heartland clubs

Feels like if GWS were going to dominate, they already would have.

I kind of see them hanging around the 3-6 mark on the ladder for the next couple of years, despite their immense talent on paper.

If we want to get into semantics, the Lions win was basically "falling over the line" considering some woeful umpiring decisions in the dying minutes of the game in favour of the Giants. Not limited to the winning goal being scored off an incredibly blatant throw (and not just a Bulldogs-handball style throw, but basically a rugby flick)

Giants lost yesterday but had by a large a very good season. The amount of talent they have is very impressive also. Set to draft a top 5 academy player in some weeks time to add to...

Sounding like it will be two top five players in the national draft. Unless melbourne does the right thing.
