The herald sun ran polls on the refugee 'crisis' for over a week.

Was this neccessary ? or was it a money making exercise as they got thousands of morons to contribute 40c (??) to them and their coms provider.

Because they were taking a moral line shouldn't they have contributed some of thisprofit to the 'cost' of the whole crisis ?

And should we pay any notice to these (voluntary) polls anyway ?

If the Taliban in afghanistan conducted similar polls as to whether to execute the 'christians' they have and they got overwhelming 'yes' vote would that justify executing them ?

I have 2 other questions.

If the refugees go to NZ, stay there and become NZ citizens then can they eventually come to australia anyway ? Does Howard look quite so good with his 'supporters' then ?

Where were the people screaming about our countries reputation as a trading nation when the ship was detained ? If it was a union which caused such a delay there would be hell to pay.

It's depends on the paper's readership!

With the Herald-Sun being a rather 'Liberal' newspaper, you'd expect the polls to mirror the opinions of Howard.

I firmly believe is these polls were in the 'Labor' newspaper, The Age, the results would be a whole lot closer!!!
