Unfortunate, poor training methods or a sign of an ageing list?

Have a look at some of the players struck down this season:

Bassett, Burton, Bode, Roo, Edwards, Perrie, Goodwin to name a few.

Fair enough some are purely coincidental and could've happened to anyone but I'm noticing its taking longer and longer for some of our former champs to recover from their niggles.

The end is nigh for some former champions methinks and a large influx of younger players may well be on the cards in the next 2 seasons....

Thoughts?

Bassett - impact
Reilly - impact
Goodwin - impact
Johncock - impact
Hentschel - impact
Perrie - impact
Burton - unlucky, hasn't been injured for most of career
Goodwin - unlucky, hasn't been injured for most of career
Bode - injury-prone player
Ricciuto - he's old

Not sure I agree with this one, he always seems to be having some sort of niggle that is either keeping him out or restricting his performance.

all of them are impact and jarring and bending.
this does have to do with age as they don't have the same vitality.
Ricciuto keeps getting smashed in the head.
Edwards I'm not sure how he holds together with his athletic capacity and perhaps he isn't from the way he is performing
Goodwin needs to get smacked by the bamboo shaolin guy.
