I don't know about you, but lollypop people around here stop traffic for adults crossing the road. The last 3 times I've stopped at a children's crossing, it's been to allow adults through. No child in sight

I don't think we even have them in Canada. I haven't seen any anyway. That would be pretty embarrassing for everybody involved!

Always park in them.
How do you guys even park in them?? I don't think I've ever seen one vacant. They usually have about 2 of them for the 100's who have kids.
Anyway, malls are private property so they can do what they want. As long as they're not charging for parking I'm all good.

If it's a big carpark with acres of space I will park almost as far away from the entry as I can. The kids don't mind the walk and I can have a gasper while we're walking.
If it's multi-level, straight to the top level, plenty of spots. Nothing more annoying sitting behind someone for 15 mins while they wait for someone to load their car up with shopping, put the trolley in a parking bay and finish their smoke, because their too ****ing lazy to walk for the extra 30 secs they'd have to if they parked further away.
I never parked in one even when the kids were in a pram. Easier and more room if you just park where there's no one else.

+1 for parking on top of a multi level, plenty of parks and can park right near the elevator unless it's really busy.

Nope never said that at all. My local Woolies doesn't have pram parking, because guess what! Bugger all people go there, hell you could probably kick a footy in their parking lot and not bother anyone. But places like Westfield Doncaster, well if you've driven through there then you'll know how crazy it can get

A very common trait in WA, the closer they can get to the entry the better even if it means parking on the road or on the verge. The problem is that no one ever books them no matter where they park even if it's in the parents with prams bays or the handicapped bays.
Would be the same, it's not for Mums per say but cars/people with prams.
It's supposed to be consideration rather than fear of being punished, however someone that's itching to get into arguments with mothers in front of their children over such a small matter has bigger issues to deal with.

And i challenge you to find any of my posts that praise Perth or its culture. I am very "anti-Perth".
I am also very Anti private companies introducing any policy that piggy backs a by-law (disabled bays) and tries to get its users to comply via guilt.
Parents do not deserve preferential treatment over the childless from private companies. They get enough handouts from their masters, government.
