I think you've improved this year, but improving from 16th to anything doesn't mean much. The problem is you haven't developed the list in a way that will progress. That is the point I'm making. Playing 5, 30 year old and older players in your starting 22, none of whom will be around in 3 years, doesn't make sense in terms of building for the future. You'll continue to bounce around between 16th and 9th with that approach, like always. Are the Tiges really serious about building a team to win flags, or is the priority just to prevent blow outs in the short term and not rock the boat? :)

And carlton must be so much better at rebuilding than the tigers. Just in case you forgot, the blues have been down the bottom for just as long as the tigers, have had 2 more number 1 draft picks and picked up judd yet they are still unable to beat us. What you have to understand is apart from the 30 year olds, pretty much the whole team are 25 and under. Therefore it is obvious that the older players are playing to give leadership and experience, which will show over the next few years when we become a powerful team.
