You guys still going along nicely? Gonna play finals are ya?

Craigy doesnt look at all happy...

Inventing things again are we ??

I dont know many informed supporters that predicted us to win a premiership or anything, I think many of our shortcomings have been observed by most of the crows supporters.

Oh yes. Crows have a problem. I think Port will finish higher than us. Oh well, at least we can brag about our draft picks and laugh at Port when they get kicked out of the finals. :)
Normally, jmorg, I find that your responses are too obsessed with dissing Port Adelaide....

I think you've found the right balance of realism and competitive nature in this response though... well done. :thumbsu:

(For the record, I still think that the Crows will make the eight.)

YYYYAAAAAWWWWNNNNNNN!!!! here we go rd1 and the old injuries and lack of match fitness blah blah BLAH is thrown into the ring already you BUTstill had 22 passengers out there that your corporation picked to play they were drafted by your corporation so live with it. Example MacGregor (is fit)/Perrie (is fit) which one did they select "the Sarg" this name says it all to me not a real leader likes to tell others what to do hates the dirty work but loves to pass the buck on to others responsibilty wise! be lucky to get a game in PORT PIRIE/perrie
"corporation" lol typical red head stepchild syndrome. We are a football club moron, but obviously you have understand one which you obviously dont.

Funny how Port win a game and suddenly they are world beaters again.

Well, one of the Grand Finalists lost this week too....as did 3 of the top 4 teams from last year, and the bottom two teams from last year won.....and Roos should have won if not for the most disgraceful kick ever (Perrie could have kicked that ;) ) This round is nothing to write home about. :)

Dont get confused Port Adelaide are a strong traditional Football Club. Port Power are an AFL creation only 10 years old who are trying to ride on the coat tails of the true Port Adelaide.

Ya have to laugh at poor fellows like this guy who don't realise that it is precisely because we are the Port Adelaide Football Club (Est. 1870) that we win games like the one at Subi on Saturday.

I also remember Mark Williams. An average unspectacular tryhard, who had to leave Collingwood in order for them to win a flag.

If you think Craig was soft, maybe you should actually watch some footage of his playing career. You can criticise his coaching pedigree, but his playing career was up there among the best of the SANFL. Could have played VFL in a heartbeat, but elected to stay in the SANFL as many players did during that era.

afc9798, thing is, that was my honest opinion - i reckon you're gonna struggle, but then you had to take it down a notch or 2 didnt you?

yes, the club, the supporters - the signs are all there my friend.

i predict after 3 rounds rounds you guys will be calling for craig's head.

That was my honest opinion too. You know the saying about glasshouses, well I'm only returning serve with my belief that Mark Williams was an average player and many would agree. Neil Craig performed well as a state player, which tells you that he was at the right level.

As I said, you can question his coaching pedigree, but his playing career was of a high level. Just as I can question Williams' playing career, yet he has the runs on the board as a coach.

If you genuinely wanted to point out our deficiencies, why didn't you post on the main board and actually give some analysis, rather than post here looking for a cheap thrill. I think that says it all about how "honest" you really are.

craig's coaching pedigree? he doesnt have one - & that's the problem, analysis enough?

cheap thrill? hardly.

besides mate, this is a thread about the crows, not mark williams, where does choco fit in? - your *** for tat - returning serve - attitude says it all really.

i posted here - read the title of the thread - it seemed an appropirate place to be, gee, if i had started a thread on the main board, you would then accuse me of....i suspect......."looking for a cheap thrill...."?
