Unfortunately I think that is the very reason that they will bring Lynch. He has a great record against us and I think they'll take a chance with him based on that, but I hope I'm wrong.
I think Matthews will pick Lynch because of his record against us. As DaveW said 20 goals in 3 matches makes us Lynch's bitch.:(

I doubt Matthews would risk Lynch this early in the season with a long flight. If it were a crunch game it would be another matter. He knows Lynch has the wood on the Crows & they are not desperate for him to demonstrate it again.

There would be no risk. If Lynch is fit, he plays if he is not he will miss.

If I was a coach and Lynch was fit i would pick him against us every time. If Lynchy's Calf (??????) has recovered he will play.

According to the Brisbane website Lethal expects Voss to play although he was doubtful over the weekend. Mathews also said Lynch may play but he would have to train freely on Wednesday to be a chance.

He said travel to Adelaide was not a factor for Lynch, it was the Perth games he had a problem with the flight. He said Lynch was almost picked to play against the swans but left the door open for him not playing against Adelaide by saying you can be almost be ready one week with his type of injury and not play the following week.

Not sure about the logic behind that, but Lethal is good at distorting reality if he feels there is the need for it. He must be concerned about this game.

Last year when we played Brisbane here in Melbourne in round three he obviously felt we were no threat and said then Lynch had a problem with travelling to Melbourne and they would rather rest him than tire him out early in the year. He was fit and played the week before last year, they just expected to roll us easily.

He knows Brisbane without Brown or Lynch wont kick 20 goals, he is going to flood the hell out of this game and rely on getting over the line with a low score like they did with the Swans.

If I was Ayres I would be dusting off the anti-flood gameplan, will be needed.
