Are the Footy Record's days numbered?

The Eastern Football League has announced that it will only be producing an online version of The Eastern Footballer in season 2019.
This comes twelve months after AFL Barwon pulled the pin on their weekly editions for the Geelong and Bellarine leagues.

Do you think the humble, yet informative, Football Record's days are numbered at grassroots level?

For the country leagues, it seems to be more of a necessity at matches as opposed to their city cousins who have more access to information online for their leagues.

Are any other leagues considering ditching theirs?

March 1: It has been confirmed over the past few days that the VAFA will be the only metropolitan competition to produce a weekly football record.

They confirmed with me this morning that will 'no longer be producing football records'.
Not 100% sure whether that even means only an online version.

I was over in Victoria recently and picked up a Record from 22 different leagues from around Victoria.
I am going to try and get one from each of the other 11 leagues that issue them this season when I am back in Victoria in July.

Here we have Ballarat, Bendigo, Central Highlands, Ellinbank, Geelong & District, Gippsland, Goulburn Valley and Hampden.
