Are the kangaroos the Chicago Bulls of the Football world

For years North have ridden on the back of WC not unlike the times when M Jordan was playing for the Bulls. WC is a once in a life time player who brings some average players into the game.
Time,hunger and other sides have got up with North.Other sides do not fear or perhaps respect North like they did three years ago.It will take time but we will be back.

Well, if Carey is our Jordan....

....then McKernan is definitely our Longley.

ie. the only people who rate him as a player are those that allow sentiment to get in the way (eg aussies)

I'd say no to that, I'm a big MJ fan and when MJ retired, that's when the Bulls started going down. Carey is still there and the Roos are starting to lose it. It's not a very good comparison really. I'm not writing off the Kangas yet however, though it's not looking good at this stage.
