Well my cobbler does RTB's cobbling!Gold! Every barber in the greater Freo area must claim to clip the Lyon head - my guy reckons he does it.
Haha, she did say he only started coming recently.Well my cobbler does RTB's cobbling!
You've got me a tad worried nowGood ball use and skills, strong pressure and accurate kicking will win us the flag.
Don't allow space and negate the opposition in the clearances. Tap to the right midfielder who pushes it off to the right half-back/half-forward who makes a calculated kick into the forward 50 (see the first half against St Kilda this year).
Simple.

I don't think a lot of people understand how important McPharlin still is to the side. Him missing against Sydney was as big as Buddy and Priddis missing for Swans and Eagles. The majority of Freo supporters were calling for his retirement at the end of last year and I wonder where we'd be right now without him.
If he's fully fit by next week we stand an extremely good chance of winning the flag.
Umm no.
A fit Johnson is far more important because he sets up the play. Since his return he has struggled to regain his best form.
Why not have both?
Sydney played hard tough footy... Hawthorn not so much. We are going ok.
I reckon Freo can Pull it off. I watched the 2013 Grand final again recently and I noticed 3 things. We were inaccurate on the day, Pav was our only tall forward on the day and Neale was the sub. I reckon Taberner is an adequate 2nd tall. Tabs in his day can get 2-3 goals and that might be the biggest difference in Freo getting the flag. Would love to see Neale have a 3 goal and 39 disposal game in a grand final like he did in the derby early this year.
Well thats your opinion. I watched it to see our mistakes and learn from them. Don't learn from them and we repeat our mistakes. Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to see history repeat itself.has anyone else been able to watch a replay of the 2013 GF?
i haven't and don't think I'll be able to until we win a flag.
We have the fire-power and the defense to score more than the opposition, I am sure of thatWe have been averaging 84 points a game this year. West Coast won the 2006 flag by a point scoring 85 points. Freo Have scored 1856 points in our 22 regular season games. Well... 273 Goals and 218 behinds. So thats 12 and a half goals a game and 10 behinds a game. Going by the averages... would 12 goals and 10 behinds equalling 82 points be enough? I don't know. Add 1 more goal. Would 88 points be enough as a winning score? 88 points would of been enough to win 6 of the last 15 grand finals including our appearance in 2013.
.....As long as it all kicks into place at the same time!
!!Barlow is not in the same position, I've no idea why thoughWhat happened to flexibility that Ross used earlier in the season?
Seems in 2nd half of season players remain in their position, except Hill who rotates between defence and mid.

And he needs to be the third tall in defense otherwise he spends too much time chasing his man and can't setup play.Umm no.

In terms of offensive impact Johnson is the link player, which makes him the most important defender. That's not to say Mcfarlin isn't important, but we do have back ups who can do a decent job. Whilst we have no replacement for Johnson, which is a problem against the better teams.
