After yesterday, i raise the question.

Personally, if they were like the first bloke (that Lobster quite happily gave stick to) and are frinedly about it i dont mind.

Its quite obvious that that W@nker just standing there to rev us up isnt welcome.

But as long as i can still get up and make some noise i think we should be fine. Its always good to have another opinion on the game.

Whats your opinion on the matter?

Can't speak for Bay 114 obvs, but in general I'd say so.

At both of last year's finals there were stacks of WCE and Freo people in and around the bars who were able to drink in peace and have a chat/banter with Crows people.

In the toilets at halftime of the Freo game while I was filing in to take a piss a Crows fan yelled out, "hurry up fellas, don't be shy, if you need to clean up I'm sure we can find a Freo scarfe or two" to which a Freo fan replied, "this one's already being used!"

Good times.

The amount of myths I've heard about us are roffleworthy - ie, a Carlton fan once seriously asked me if it was true that cars with Vic number plates get rolled over and set alight in the carpark.

I've only ever seen 1 punch thrown and connected in 17 years of attending AFL games at Footy Park and ironically enough that was Round 4 of 1997.............but apart from that I think it's all a bit of a myth.

As with life you generally get the treatment you ask for and deserve.

;)

I try and make a point of it. I like to be able to yell when not at AAMI without getting my head bitten off by a bunch of lousy drunken Carlton fans who throw plastic bottles at my head and then proceed to chant "you're shit and you know you are", and so I have no problem with opposition supporters yelling for their team. As long as nobody is confrontational towards me, a bit of noise from an enemy in our territory is fine.

I think we are, as long as the opposition fans are alright.

As I said, that tall bloke who was sitting to the right of us initially was a bit annoyed, but after quarter time he wandered over and realised we were just having a bit of fun and were decent people, so he stayed with us for the rest of the game and we had a bit of fun giving each other some stick.

On the flipside, we had this other ****er come over in the last quarter and just be an absolute tosser - bagging the crows, making smart arse remarks and just making a complete dick of himself. We weren't going to biff him or anything, but we told him to shut up or go away that many times, and ignoring him didn't work that well as he kept making snide remarks. Luckily, a few of his mates came over and dragged him away and apologised for him.

I think it's more about the other guys than it is about us - if they're decent people who realise that what we're doing is in good fun and not in any way what-so-ever mean-spirited, then we'll all get along fine.
