where is the quote from greg miller about fevola hating pagan?????

according to you miller has just stated the bleeding obvious (cris newman was his best man at his wedding and he also is a good mate of tim fleming who played at richmond)

he is mates with newman from junior footy and became mates with fleming while fleming was still at carlton

the truth does hurt, don't no why you worry he is contracted to carlton. however in time you will see for far to much money. i know greg miller and know what he told me. he was interested in going to richmond and maybe even in the future if his dislike for pagan continues. they just do not get on. i am sorry but that is a fact. CAMPO IS ANOTHER, LAPPIN, WHITNALL, MANTON, RATTON, HULME, MCKERNON. STEVENS IS HIS LUV CHILD

We'd have been foolish to get rid of a gun like Fevola. Even when we were struggling with form, and Fev himself was struggling with injury, he still kicked 49 goals in 19 matches. Where in the world would we find another player that can do that?

It's simple. He's a super talent in a side that lacks talent. Fev is a proven match winner, and IMO a premiership winner (Wok GF ;) )

To be honest, this thread should be about Whitnall.
Well said.

As for Whitnall he won me over recently when he signed for less money and years than he could have got @ Melbourne. His form last year was his best for 5 years, although he needs to back it up again next season.

As for all the other crap on this thread abt Pagan, remember Carlton's last year under Brittain!!! Who cares if the players hate him, half of them need a rocket up their #*&@.

You've hereby been charged with murdering the English language throughout this thread.

Fevola is going to be exactly like Matthew Richardson.

Every year we'll debate whether his attitude in compensated by his talent and every year he won't get traded.

Every year he'll kick 60-70 goals and in 5 seasons time people will say "Oh well, that's just his way."

Thats the problem, one good half season from 4 years doesn't justify 350k nor does it justify the stupidness of the club of keeping him when his trade value was at the highest and could have potentially gotten Pick 12 plus something else.

Oh well, I hope he proves me wrong but till he does I'll remain skeptical.

you will find he can only get the ball if they deliver it to him correctly, look at other clubs eg do you know why Matthew lloyd kicks so many goals?? thats because they kick it to him and not just kick and hope .
its hard to kick goals if they dont kick it to you properly
so please lay off fevola it take more then one ya know

Isn't it more than just coincidence that Whitnall has struggled during the worst 4 years in the club's history? He certainly hasn't been on his own during this period. Otherwise we wouldn't have won 2 wooden spoons in that time.

Dont knock the poor garden slug, Mattthew LLoyd has a pathetic win/loss record when he has lead the dons in the past, and personally i couldnt get motivated by someone who wears his shorts that high.As for fevola im glad we kept him.

Well in supposedly his best season in the past 5 years, Carlton won the wooden spoon. Whitnall is not indispensible, nearly all Carlton fans know that except the board.

Matthew Lloyd may have the personality of a garden slug, but i'd rather him then someone with the manners of a fire extinguisher.

I'd just like to take this oppurtunity to sincerely apologise to all the garden slugs out there ...it was a shocking slur on their character and personalities.

Fevola the man is hard to admire. Fevola the footballer is in elite company. The only man on our list who can win a game off his own boot. We cannot afford to lose footballers of this class. Congratulations to the Carlton hierarchy for getting it right. A few interesting comparisons here already, and it's entirely possible Fevola's best seasons are still to come. I hope so.

foolvola. his antics on the footy show put shame on our club. He really has become the 'village idiot'.
Sure he's an idiot but who cares as long as he's playing well. I'm happy we kept him. At least our forward line is still a good standard with Fev in it.
