Dahlhaus did the exact same tackle as Alex Neal-Bullen, he just picked an opponent 10kg heavier and stronger. That's the only difference and the only reason why Crouch avoided concussion.

The tribunal have made absolute fools of themselves.
One actually had high contact in the tackle and the other one didn't.

Dahlhaus was found guilty of a dangerous tackle, he just didn't cause high contact in performing that dangerous tackle. So his punishment is lined up for body contact. The tribunal still left it at medium impact because the still slung Crouch's body into the ground.

Dahlhaus is just lucky that Crouch's head didn't hit the ground.

And Alex Neal-Bullen's 4 week suspension was a ridiculous over reaction.

There's often a fine line between judging alleged offenses on "outcomes", and judging them on what actually happened. I think what helped Dahlhaus was

* Crouch's head didn't hit the ground. The video evidence contradicted the tale told by Christian and Gleeson.
* Crouch had the ball pretty much the whole time. What was Dahl meant to do, stop tackling? Anyone who doesn't commit to a tackle when the other guy's still got the footy deserves to be dropped for longer than the suspension he risks
* The slinging motion, what there was of it (not much), was much less than what Burgoyne kept getting off for, and comparable to SPP's.
So it should have been holding the ball. The bias is sickening.

Matt Crouch's neck must be made of solid steel if his head didn't hit the ground in that tackle. Surely it did. Just side on and much less forcefully.
