If forced to make a choice which limb would you chose to remove?

Removing an arm obviously allows you to still run/remain fit/travel the world etc, whereas the removal of a leg means you can still use your hands for... things..

Funny you say that, was walking with a mate down Rue Anspach here in Brussels and there was a guy in a wheelchair who was missing the lower half of his body. Arab guy, had the beard, combat jacket, obviously been fighting somewhere and been badly wounded.

Anyway, my mate turns to me and goes: "I thoughv the Syrians wanted foreign arms, not legs"

Boom. How we laughed.

You should've said it to the wheelchair-bound guy too. Then all three of you could've shared that hearty laugh :spades:

I don't think English was his strong suit, and he had a kind of 1000 yard stare.

I think the war took more than his legs. Some wounds are invisible you know.

(Anyway, **** him, jihadi flog.)

I hardly use my right arm/hand at all. It's basically just there for asthetics. Could live without.

I watched aliens resurrection last nite and there was this little scrawny four eyed dood with no legs that did alright. Those bad arsed acid blooded monsters were no match for him.

Have spent multiple extended periods both on crutches and with arms in slings.

Arm every day of the week. Leg is a bastard, just destroys your mobility. You can't do anything.

Actually reckon you'd get used to only using one arm pretty quickly - like a matter of months.

Leg. Take Adam Hills for example. Has had a wooden leg his whole life and manages fine.

Edit: Never being able to dance again would hurt though :(

Leg, definitely. Would mean i'd have to quit sports but would also mean i could still play PlayStation. From having busted fingers/thumbs at times from cricket, it's hell trying to do certain mundane things with one hand.

Surprised no one has mentioned it yet.....but masturbation would be a significant reason to keep the arms. Especially when you have a disgustingly huge schlong like me you need both hands, forearms, and a foot or two.

If you need both hands AND a foot or two, you're ****** if you lose either an arm or a leg...

Leg, too many things in life require 2 hands and prosthetic legs are a lot better at this stage than arms, job of the leg is far less complex compared to a hand..

Really though it's called screw not being able to play video games normally, never play guitar or bass again, having to relearn how to even dress yourself, a fake leg can be covered in long pants, a fake arm / hand cannot. I mean it doesn't designate where each limb is taken from, if it's below the elbow / knee then losing a leg will only be a fairly minor inconvenience in the long run...

I mean replacement hand...

Compared to leg...

Really a no brainer
