Collingwood are a better side this year than they were in 2023. But that is currently and they have a few strong competitors.

They are just one of the elite clubs. Up there with Sydney, Geelong, Hawthorn and prior to a few years ago West Coast. Teams that are never that far away from it.

The pies also tend to storm back to the top 4 right after a finals absence.
